THE SPIRITUAL ATTACKS ON THE CHURCH

Even the Gates of Hades will not prevail against the Church
( Matt 16:18)
Jesus even tells us that the GATES OF HADES will come against the Church and in the Book of Revelation Jesus talks about
the “Spiritual attacks” within the Church. The Church has to be aware that many kinds of Spirits will come against it and
identifying the “Mani ones” will help the Church to guard against such attacks.
There are three “ Main kinds of Spirits” that usually are present and attack the Church from within. They are the
a) The ABSALOM SPIRIT –That will DIVIDE and DESTROY the Church. (2Cor 11:12-15)
b) The JEZEBEL SPIRIT – That will SABOTAGE the PURPOSE of God for the Church.(Rev 2:20)
c) The PYTHON SPIRIT.-That will SUFFOCATE the FLOW of the HOLY SPIRIT.(Acts 16:16-19)
a) ABSALOM SPIRIT – This “Spirit” will like Absalom manipulate the people to RISE UP against the Pastor through
CRITICISMS, CONDEMNATIONS and COMMENTS thereby arousing the sentiments of the believers to feel and believe
that the Pastor is not doing his “job”. This “Spirit” will use people who are “ close” to the Pastor and influence their
affections and alignment to the Pastor and when it is fully manifested will RISE up against the Pastor and then LEAVE the
Church drawing people to follow them. The “Spirit will create “Hidden Rebellion, Manipulation, Influence, Desire to be in
command, Self advancement and fault finding to create DIVISION and DISPERSION. (2Sam14:25-28 )
b) JEZEBEL SPIRIT- This “Spirit” is like “Jezebel” the wife of King Ahab who will TURN PEOPLE’S HEARTS away from
God, move them to follow “ false teachings and concepts that will turn the HEARTS of the people away from God. This “
Spirit” will use “ Flattery, Intimidation, False Prophecies and form Cliques” to destroy the PLANS and PURPOSES that God
has for the Church. (Rev 2:20)
c) PYTHON SPIRIT- As in Genesis where the “ Snake” came to Eave to deceive her, this “Spirit” will deceive the people by
introducing the “ WORLD’S SYSTEMS and BELIEFS to run the Church thereby replacing the MOVE OF THE SPIRIT.
The Church will focus on the MATERIAL ASPECT of building rather than the SPIRITUAL ASPECT where the world’s
ways of “Ministering” like “ Counselling, Mind Mapping, Group Therapy, New Age religious activities, Self Righteousness
and Physiology rather than the “WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE of the Holy Spirit. This will lead the Church to operate in the
NATURAL rather than SUPERNATURAL. (Acts 16:16-19)
All such “Spirits” will be JUDGED by God, Absalom hung from a tree, Jezebel was thrown down from the window and the
Snake’s head was crushed so also will those who allow such “Spirits” to use them be dealt with by God.

MOBILIZING EVERY PERSON
“And they went through the camp and commanded all the people(Jos 3:3)

For the Church to have an “ Accurate Mission” EVERY PERSON must be involved in allowing themselves to become the “
GATEWAY” from heaven to earth, to be in a Position of STATURE and INFLUENCE and then to ADVANCE the Kingdom of
God to every City and province.

Hence EVERY PERSON in the church must GET INVOLVED, no person can “ have themselves excused” from this call of God.
So many sit in the church as “ spectators” instead of being “partakers”. Jesus the “ Landlord” wants EVERY worker to work.

The “Mobilization” of the Church involves 3 areas:

a)To meet the NEEDS of the people IN the Church.(Acts 6:1-4)

b)To meet the NEEDS of the people OUTSIDE the church. ((Acts 9: 32-34)

c)To ADVANCE the Kingdom of God breaking down strongholds.(Acts 14:8-12)

So the Pastor must RAISE UP people to handle :

a)The ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES of the Church: All forms of administration, from finances to clerical work, the Pastor must
be FREE to do what he has been mandated by God to do. Very often the Pastor does all of these things.
b)The PASTORAL MINISTERING of the Believers in the Church: There are so many people who need ministering in
Counseling, areas of relationships, emotional needs, simple spiritual updates etc.. all of these the Pastor must have a “Pastoral
Team” to handle. He cannot be like Moses who tried to handle all the people.
c)The MINISTERAL affairs of the Church: All the various teams such as the Prayer team, the Worship team, the Children’s
ministry, the youth etc.. the Pastor must have the necessary people to handle these areas.
d)The PHYSICAL needs of the Church: So many Pastors are called to even handle the repairing of toilets, changing lightbulbs,
painting etc.. all of this must be handled by his “ Maintenance team”.
e)The SOCIAL aspects of the Church: The Pastor must set up people with the right attitude and compassion to handle the
orphans and widows and all those who are poor.
It is very important that the Pastor MOBILIZES EVERY PERSON in the Church, because God had put them in the Church to be
USED both in the SPIRITUAL and in the NATURAL and this mobilization must always come under the AUTHORITY OF THE
PASTOR.

No person assigned is ABOVE the Pastor. Many Churches have been split because those raised up by the Pastor, eventually
ROSE UP against the very person who raised them up. MOBILIZATION brings RESPONSIBILITY and this must produce
SUBMISSION

This has indeed been a YEAR OF ACCELERATION. Everything has been moving at a faster pace. Eversince coming to Old
Klang Road and starting KTS, things have moved pretty fast. God has really been building the Church and the people up. Lives
are being transformed, blessings are pouring in and most of all the “ PROPHECIES” that have been given to the sons and
daughters are beginning to come true and bear fruit.

I see that the Church will now begin to ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD and this will OPEN the doors of the church for
man to come in. I urge all sons and daughters of KTS to prepare yourselves for the “ Spiritual Tsunami” that is to come.

Our Family Day was such a wonderful time, everyone who came enjoyed themselves but what was important was that we were a
“ FAMILY”. No one “kept to themselves” all joined in the fun from the Pastors to the people we were ONE. This is what Church
is all about, when the people become ONE.

I BELIEVE GREATER THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN and I urge everyone in KTS let us come together as ONE for the
might works, signs and wonders that God is going to release into KTS.

ACCURATE MISSION OF THE CHURCH

Lesson Nine
“Through the manifold wisdom of God, should be made known to the Rulers and Authorities in the heavenly realms according to
the eternal purpose that has been fulfilled through Jesus Christ” (Eph 3:10-11)

Many Churches “GO FOR MISSION” TRIPS but this is not the accurate mission, for the CHURCH HAS BEEN PLACED BY
God on earth for a MISSION and this MISSION is divided into 3 parts.

1. MISSION IN the CHURCH.- GATEWAY of Heaven to Earth (Gen 28:10-22)

When the Church is the “ GATEWAY” of heaven to earth, like the ladder that Jacob saw in his dream, then the PRESENCE of
God will be seen, there will be ACCURATE GOVERNEMNT in the Church, Heaven’s RESOURCES will flow into the church,
REVELATIONS, SIGNS and WONDERS will happen, ACCURATE REPRESENTATION of God’s Word without deception
will be given, DIVINE NATURE will overtake Human nature, LIVES will be transformed, a new BREED without GREED will
emerge, SONS and DAUGHTERS will take over the members, there will be NO DIVIDING WALLS, GOD will INHABIT and
not visit the Church and the Church will be a HOUSE of Prayer and of God.

2.MISSION OF the CHURCH.- A POSITION OF STATURE,INFLUENCE and FAVOUR(Acts 2:47)

In becoming the “ Gateway of Heaven to earth” the Church will now begin to INFLUENCE Society around it. The Church will
become the ACCURATE MODEL for other churches, GOD’S AUTHORITY will propel the Church, there will be DIRECT
ACCESS to God, BLESSINGS from God will flow into the church, the WORKS of the ENEMY will be destroyed, the WORKS
of the Kingdom will take over the programs of man, RULERS and GOVERNORS will seek advice from the Church, ALL kinds
of EVIL surrounding the Church will die off and EVERYONE around the Church will hold the Church in AWE and HIGH
ESTEEM.

3.MISSION FOR the CHURCH. –ADVANCING THE KINGDOM OF GOD on earth(Rev 12:10-11)
When the Church has INFLUENCE then the Church will ADVANCE. It will begin with the PERSONAL MISSION of the
Believer to PREACH the Good News, CAST out demons, LAY HANDS on the sick, SET the CAPTIVES FREE, Make the
BLIND to SEE, MAKE DISCIPLES of the people, TEACHING them to OBEY all of God’s commands, HEAL the
BROKENHEARTED and PROCLAIMING that today is the day of Salvation. Once this becomes the norm the Church will have
a KINGDOM MENTALITY and CULTURE and not the culture of man, the Church will REACH out to the poor, the orphans
and widows, ESTABLISH Covenanted RELATIONSHIPS with other churches, thus BREAKING DOWN the STRONGHOLDS
of Satan by PREACHING VICTORY, DELCARING HIS KINGDOM TO COME, ALIGNING itself to God, SHUTTING
DOWN

Darkness within by SPEAKING the PROCEEDING WORD and MOVING OUT and MOVING ON

Thus EXPANDING the KINGDOM to the ends of the earth. This is ACCURATE MISSION.

Lesson Eight
“For you have an ANOINTING from the Holy One” (1Jn 2: 20)
The ANOINTING of the CHURCH(shoulders) will now flow onto the Body(BELIEVER) and hence every believer is
ANOINTED by God. Anointing is not for personal glory it is to carry out the WORK OF GOD.

The ANOINTING that we have will:

a)TEACH US- To know all truth. ((1Jn 2: 27)

b)ENABLE YOU TO DO THE LORD’S WORK- Carry out your assignment. (Zech 4: 14)

c)ENABLES HEALING TO TAKE PLACE-Healings will take place in your life.(Acts 10:38)

There are “many kinds” of anointing in the church but the main anointings are:

1.The PROPHETIC ANOINTING.(2Pet 1: 9)

2.The WORSHIP ANOINTING.(2Chor 29:28)

3.The HEALING ANOINTING.(1Cor 12:9)

These are the major anointing in the church that EACH BELIEVER has and as a BELIEVER we must know what we carry in
order to OPERATE EFFECTIVELY.
The PROPHETIC ANOINTING will inspire growth, release potential, place the right people in the church, reveal divine
strategies, make the church look beyond it’s own territories, activate the Prophet, install God’s Government, break the limitations
of the past and be a battleax to defeat the enemy breaking down strongholds and bondages.
The WORSHIP ANOINTING will bring down the presence of God, Saturate the atmosphere with a God consciousness, make
the Worship team and the people to be carriers of his presence and not just proclaimers, release the Prophetic dimension in the
Church, thus making the presence of God to be revealed in his Sovereign presence, his Manifested deity, his Awesome power, his
Anointed flow, his Indwelling presence and his Heavenly realm to saturate the Church and the believers, just as when Solomon
dedicated the Temple and God’s Presence was fully manifested.
The HEALING ANOINTING will make us the Carriers of a particular healing anointing, ardent preachers of the Word, to
operate in Faith, To have knowledge of the kind of miracle God wants to manifest, to see the impossible happen, to fore know the
kind of healing that will take place, stop the entry points for sickness to come in, help increase the faith of the sick person,
enabling them to be responsive to the healing touch, braking any demonic manifestation and know the exact time for the healing
to take place.
As BELIEVERS we must KNOW the ANOINTINGS we carry as this will enable us to OPERATE more effectively and
accurately. The DOMINANT ANOINTING OF THE PASTOR will flow from the HEAD to the SHOULDERS (Church) and to
the BODY(Believer).

ANOINTING IN THE CHURCH – DOMINANT ANOINTING

Lesson Seven
“The seven stars which you saw and the seven Golden Lampstands”(Rev 1:20)
The DOMINANT ANOINTING of the Senior Pastor will now flow onto the CHURCH(As when the oil flowed from Aaron’s
head then to his beard, then shoulders, then onto his robes and then to his feet.(Ps 133:2).Hence each Church will have a
PARTICULAR ANOINTING.

When the anointing flows from the head to the shoulders(Church), the anointi9ng will bring with it the “ GOVERNMENT” of
God to the Church. Many churches are blessed but very few are anointed. Anointed Churches will have the “Government of
God” upon it and it will show itself and so the “ anointed Church” will be :

1.A HOUSE OF PRAYER: (Lk 19:46) An Anointed Church must first become a “ HOUSE OF PRAYER”. To be a “ House of
prayer does not mean having prayer vigils, Intercession groups, all sorts of prayer seminars, but having the SPIRIT TO PRAY.
This will lead the church to always:
a)GIVE THANKS and PRAISE TO GOD:. (Eph 4:6)

b.UN WAVERING SUPPLICATION:.(Eph 4: 6)

c.HAVE ACCURACY AND PRECISION : Eph 1:16-19)

2.HOUSE OF GOD (Matt 12:4): An anointed Church with God’s Government will make the Church to be a HOUSE OF GOD
where God resides not visits. This “House of God” will manifest itself by:
a. The MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS.

b. The OUTWORKING of the FIVE FOLD MINISTRY GIFTS.

c. REVELATIONS,SIGNS and WONDERS

d)PROVISIONS of FINANCES, GOODS, BLESSINGS and GRAC E.

3.COVENANTED RELATIONSHIPS. (Acts 6: 3): The Anointed Church with God’s Government will have people totally
covenanted to the Pastor. This will show itself in:
a)SOUND MARRIAGES
b)COMMITTED MINISTRY TEAMS.

4.SOVERIGN MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 13: 2-4): The Holy Spirit will be able to MOVE freely without any
hindrance and this will produce:
a)THRONE ROOM WORSHIP

b)TRANSFORMED LIVES

c)FULFILMENT OF DESTINY.

d)IMPACT AND INFLUENCE.

Anointed churches have God’s government opening the floodgates for personal anointing.

A MINISTRY UNTO THE SAINTS

When a Church has “Ministered unto the Lord” through WORSHIP, the believers now must be ministered by one another.
Wherever St.Paul went he “strengthened” the Believers and so this is what every LOCAL CHCURCH must do and that is to
“MINISTER UNTO THE SAINTS”.
A Church where it’s members are STRONG, UNITED and EMPOWERED will
definitely IMPACT the CITY and TRANSFORM the NATION.
As a CHURCH MINISTERS unto the LORD in WORSHIP, so the members of the church must now MINISTER UNTO
ONE ANOTHER.
This will help:

1. UNITE the Church.

2. STRENGTHEN the Body.
3. INFLUENCE Society around them.
4. RELATIONSHIPS amongst members, spouses and families be made STRONG.
5. FINANCIALLY stabilize the Church.
6. SPIRITUALLY empower the Church.
7. SCRIPTURALLY enhance the believers.
As “members” of the Church and brothers and sisters of the House of God we must:

 BUILD one another’s FAITH (Jude1-4)

 EDUCATE on the doctrine of Jesus (Matt 28:20)
 DEVELOP HOLINESS in character of one another (Eph 5:23-33)
 Bring others into MINISTRY (Eph 4:12)
 Provide PROTECTION and COVERING for each other (Is 2:1-4)
 LOVE one another (Jn 13: 34)
 COMFORT the afflicted (1Thess 4:18)
 EXHORT one another (Heb 3:13)
 EDIFY the members (Rom 14:19)
 ADMONISH the wrongdoer (Rom 15:14)
 SERVE each other and the Body (1Pet 4:10)
 FORGIVE the offender (Col 3:13)
 SUBMIT to authority and to one another (Eph 5:21)
 TEACH one another (Col 3:16)
 PRAY for every one in the house (Jms 5:16)
  HOLD each other in HIGH ESTEEM (Rom 12:10)
When a CHURCH MINISTERS to one another this will make the Church to become God’s CHOICEST PLACE here on
earth. People will flock to this kind of LOCAL CHURCH.

A MINISTRY UNTO THE LORD

“The 24 elders fall down before him who sits on the Throne and worship him casting away their crowns saying You are worthy
O Lord to receive honour and glory.” (Rev 4:10-11)

As a CHURCH let us realize in all clarity as to the MAIN reason and purpose of the church and that is to MINISTER UNTO
THE LORD. To MINISTER UNTO THE LORD simply means that the CHURCH must be aWORSHIPING CHURCH.
Different churches have different forms of “Worship” and many of our ways of worship sad to say has come from the “fancies”
of man and not from God.

GOD has clearly INSTRUCTED the CHURCH and the BELIEVER as to how GOD must be worshiped.
WHO are we to WORSHIP? – The answer is GOD and God alone. (Matt 4:10)
HOW must we worship God? – “IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.” (Jn 4:20)
Jesus says that GOD is searching for TRUE WORSHIPPERS who will worship him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.
WORSHIP IN SPIRIT:
“Then David DANCED before the Lord with all his MIGHT (SPIRIT). (2Sam 6:14)
To worship God in SPIRIT means that your worship must be:
 SPONTANEOUS – A “Freedom” within, when worshiping God.
 EMOTIONAL – Expression of your emotions of Joy, love, happiness and even tears.
 ENERGIZING – Full of Power and Vitality.
 STRENGTHENING – The person must be made strong after worship.
 VENERATIVE – A Holy reverence for God.
WORSHIP IN TRUTH:
“All the words (directions) that the Lord has spoken we will do.” (Ex 24:3)

God has ordained the ways we must WORSHIP him and God says that we must when we worship him:
1. SING IN A LOUD VOICE (Ps 27:6)
2. LIFT UP OUR HANDS (Ps 28:2)
3. MEDITATE IN OUR HEARTS ( Ps 49:3)
4. With OUR MOUTH AND LIPS (Ps 63:5)
5. KNEELING (Ps 95:6)
6. LIFTING UP OUR EYES (Ps 121:1)
7. With MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS (Ps 150:4-5)
8. DANCING (Ps 150:4)
9. BOWING DOWN (Ps 95:6)
10. CLAPPING (Ps 47:1)
Hence as a CHURCH we must first above all WORSHIP GOD more than anything else.

THE LOCAL CHURCH

“And upon this rock I shall build my Church.” (Matt 16:18)

Christ stated the UNIVERSAL CHURCH and in every place and region there must be this LOCAL CHURCH.
“To the Church of God (Universal) which is at Corinth (Local Church)” clearly tells us that there must be a LOCAL CHURCH.
(1Cor 1:2)
There are “millions of Local Churches” all over the world, of different denominations and doctrines and yet that Local Church
must be:
 1. A MINISTRY UNTO THE LORD – Serving, worshiping and glorifying God. (Matt4:10)
2. A MINISTRY UNTO THE SAINTS – Edifying, building, and helping to transform Christians. (Eph 4:9-11)
3. A MINISTRY UNTO THE SINNERS – Leading people to repentance and holy and righteous living. (Matt 24:14)
4. A MINISTRY UNTO CONQUERING SATAN AND DESTROYING HIS FOOTHOLD IN THIS WORLD – By
advancing the Kingdom of God (Matt 16:15-20)
This is the PURPOSE of the LOCAL Church, and for this to happen the LOCAL CHURCH must BE:
 MORE than what it is now.
 GREATER than what it is now.
 Have the GRACE to TRANSFORM lives.
 A BUILDER of lives and not just a building.
 TRANSFORMING than just informing.
 A Place of HONOUR.
 The EXPRESSION of LOVE and POWER.
 The PRESENCE of HOLINESS and POWER and not of personalities.
 The ADVERTISEMENTS of CHANGED lives and not just sermons and messages.
 The place where the SPIRIT OF GOD FLOWS and not hi tech technology.
 The Place of VISION and MISSION and not of profits and projections.
 A Place of CALLING and OBEDIENCE and not of Positions and Programs.
 The place where there is UNITY and RELATIONSHIPS rather than connections.

God’s CHOICEST APOSTOLIC BASE rather than man’s domain.

The LOCAL CHURCH must have the INFLUENCE to IMPACT the CITY and to help TRANSFORM the nation.
So many churches exist, yet the impact it has on society has been minimal and the reason is that the LOCAL CHURCH is more
concerned about ITSELFrather than the PURPOSE it has been put there in the first place by Jesus.
For the CITY to be IMPACTED and NATION TRANSFORMED the LOCAL CHURCH must become GLOCAL.
