The students must develop the following activities:

1. Read the following reference for Unit 2 at the Knowledge

Based on the reading and extra information gathered from the


internet:

Draft a mind map explaining why does the author mention


the following sentence in the article:

“The creation of a successful goodwill is the most important


objective in a company”

2. Read the following references for Unit 2 at the Knowledge


Environment:

Mc Manus, J. P. (2012). Intellectual Property : From Creation


to Commercialisation: A Practical Guide for Innovators &

Based on the readings and extra information gathered from the
internet:

Build a PowerPoint presentation describing definition and


main uses of the following valuation methods:

3. According to the information gathered in step 1 of the course


developing the Survey to identify and characterize medium-sized
enterprises for digital transformation, the company mentioned some
computer programs they use for its activities as a part of the digital
transformation, choose one of all the computer programs mentioned
by the company (make sure it is part of the information submitted in
step 1) and search on internet to develop the following:

 Identify at least two other computer programs that can solve


the same need for the company.

 Find a quotation of the three computer programs to identify its


owner, technical description, prices, and payment terms.

 Analyze and compare the three computer programs in relation


to its advantages or disadvantages according to its price.

 Taking into account the information gathered, make


conclusions in relation to the relevance of the cost of software
in Colombia in relation to the problem of study (How to
promote digital transformation in Colombian medium-sized
enterprises)

 Record and post in YouTube a one (1) minute video where the
student appears explaining in English the computer programs
findings and its conclusions about the cost-benefit analysis,
taking into account the research problem. In the video, the
student must present itself, including its name, date and
avoiding any mention of the person or company surveyed.
4. Individually, each student must consolidate a .zip file to be submitted
to the Monitoring and Evaluation Environment according to the
guidelines given below in section Products to deliver by student, and
name it with the following structure:

Cree una presentación de PowerPoint que describa la definición y los usos


principales de los siguientes métodos de valoración:

3. De acuerdo con la información recopilada en el paso 1 del curso que


desarrolla la Encuesta para identificar y caracterizar empresas medianas
para la transformación digital, la empresa mencionó algunos programas de
computadora que utilizan para sus actividades como parte de la
transformación digital, elija uno de todos los programas informáticos
mencionados por la empresa (asegúrese de que formen parte de la
información presentada en el paso 1) y busque en Internet para
desarrollar lo siguiente:

• Identifique al menos otros dos programas de computadora que puedan


resolver la misma necesidad para la empresa.

• Encuentre una cotización de los tres programas de computadora para


identificar a su propietario, descripción técnica, precios y condiciones
de pago.

• Analizar y comparar los tres programas de computadora en relación con


sus ventajas o desventajas según su precio.

• Teniendo en cuenta la información recopilada, saque conclusiones con


respecto a la relevancia del costo del software en Colombia en relación
con el problema de estudio (Cómo promover la transformación digital en
las medianas empresas colombianas)

• Grabe y publique en YouTube un video de un (1) minuto donde aparece el


alumno explicando en inglés los hallazgos de los programas de computadora
y sus conclusiones sobre el análisis de costo-beneficio, teniendo en
cuenta el problema de la investigación. En el video, el estudiante debe
presentarse, incluido su nombre, fecha y evitar cualquier mención de la
persona o empresa encuestada.

4. Individualmente, cada estudiante debe consolidar un archivo .zip para


enviarlo al Ambiente de Monitoreo y Evaluación de acuerdo con las pautas
que se dan a continuación en la sección Productos que entregará el
estudiante y nombrarlo con la siguiente estructura:
