'Dragon Ball Super': Will Goku turn into an immortal God to fight Zamasu?

We discuss what needs to be done to face the immortal God Zamasu and Black.

As we saw in the episode 58, a lot of details have been revealed that made the storyline of Future
Trunks Saga even more interesting. The most important one is that Zamasu asked Super Shenron
for immortality, using the Super Dragon Balls. However, according to Whis, this is not confirmed,
as well as Black's creation using the Super Dragon Balls. At the moment, we know that Present
Zamasu is about to kill Gowasu so he can get the Time Ring and Potara earrings. Anyway, it seems
that Future Zamasu has achieved his goal of turning into an immortal God. So, what is Goku
planning to do to face him? Will he also turn into an immortal God?

A new transformation

It's pretty clear that Goku needs a new transformation or to reach a higher level to defeat Black,
and also, he has to defeat Zamasu, who apparently has turned into an immortal God in the future.
What would happen if Goku asked for immortality using the Super Dragon Balls and transformed
into Super Saiyan God again? Would he also be an immortal God? As you might know, Super
Saiyan God surpasses Super Saiyan 3. Who would win in a fight between the immortal God Zamasu
and the immortal God Goku? That would truly be a new Battle of Gods, but the outcome remains
uncertain since both are unable to die. It would definitely be a fantastic battle. Do you think that
this is possible? How would Goku look like as an immortal new Super Saiyan God? Goku could also
train with Zeno, in order to increase his power, but if Zeno finds out what’s really going on, he will
probably get angry and that could be dangerous.

Vegito and Super Saiyan Blue

We think that it would be a little bit premature to see a new transformation in the series, since in
the last 3 sagas (without counting Potaufeu Saga) there have been 2 transformations already
(Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue). It would be better to see Vegito or even a Super Saiyan
Blue 2 or 3. Both options sound fine, at least in order to defeat Black. It would be great for the fans
to see Vegito back in action after a long time and even better to see him transformed. This
character is extremely powerful, due to the fusion between Goku and Vegeta. They just need to
get the Potara Earrings somehow.
