Galatians

Chapter 1
The Apostle Paul chastises the Galatians for seeking other gospels. He presents himself as a sign
and a warning to those seeking other gospels. He persecuted many Christians, but was guided
and saved, which proves he is faithful and not lying that he preaches the true gospel.

Chapter 2
Using Barnabas as an example, Paul illustrates that following laws is not the way to salvation,
rather it is faith in Jesus that paves the way to redemption and a fruitful afterlife. Christianity is
different in Judaism, because the former emphasizes salvation and the latter law.

Chapter 3
Paul introduces the covenant of Abraham with God, one that preordained Jesus as an offspring.
Evidencing this covenant, Paul warns the Galatians to have faith and believe, instead of looking
for a law to anchor their belief. The law is comes from faith and belief in Jesus.

Chapter 4
Paul presents an allegory of the enslaved and the adopted child; one is beholden to "elemental
spirits" and the other to God. The enslaved does not know God, and is not saved, but the child
inherits salvation. The apostles serve as the womb, providing salvation by preaching.

Chapter 5
Paul asserts that freedom is attained through faith and love of Jesus, and that slavery is a yoke.
A person is not subject to law, rather they are "led by the Spirit" and this sets apart the person.
Following a set of ascribed laws, without faith is empty and faithless.

Chapter 6
Finally, Paul tells the Galatians not to transgress against each other, and to be wary of their
actions. He emphasizes that following laws strictly without faith in Jesus does not beget
salvation, only faith and belief are saving graces. The flesh, and its upkeep, is not enough.

Philemon
A letter to specific people, instead of a Church or group, by Paul from prison. It asks for a place
for Paul's father-figure, Onesimus. He is imprisoned with other Christians and apostles. In a
state of despair, Paul resists, believes and seeks assistance for a fellow Christian.

Philippians

Chapter 1
Paul in prison is giving hope to his followers, insisting that he can withstand the pressures,
because "living is in Christ and dying is gain". By holding steadfast in belief, while facing trials,
Paul serves a model Christian suffering to attain salvation.
Chapter 2
Paul reminds the Church of Jesus, a deity, came in human form as an example. God seeks help
Christians receive salvation. Patience and holding fast to faith will redeem people, and "labour in
vain" is not enough of a sacrifice. Paul sends a devout member to help the Church.

Chapter 3
Paul uses metaphorical language to set apart the Christians He states that changing the state of
the flesh will not be a testament to one's faith, rather it is through faith and belief in Christ that
shows one's righteousness. Belief in the tenets that Christ preached is supreme.

Chapter 4
Finally, Paul tells the Philippians to rejoice for they are on the path of salvation. He also informs
them of members who are exceptional: woman who have have helped the cause of preaching and
ministry. Further, Paul praises them for aiding in building the Christian community.
