REMEMBER: To gain the respect and admiration of your friends and classmates, be well-groomed.
Knowing what is proper to wear for a certain occasion is a must. To be well-groomed, you must keep
your clothes clean, well-pressed, and in good condition.
2. AGE – For young girls and boys, colorful clothes are becoming, with warm colors like orange and
red of different shades, to give the impression of youth and gaiety. . For older people, cool colors like
blue and green are appropriate.
3. TIME AND WEATHER CONDITION – Wear clothes that are black and shiny and have bold designs in
the evening; simple and light-colored during the day.
During summer, wear white or cool colors such as pink and blue.
During the rainy season, wear warm colors such as yellow and red. Wear thick clothes during
cold weather and thin sleeveless clothes during warm weather.
CARE FOR CLOTHES: Great care for your clothes must be given for they affect your personal
appearance.
1. Keep your clothes clean, well-pressed, in good condition, and free from stain and tear.
2. Missing buttons, snaps, or any other fasteners must be replaced at once.
3. Ripped hems must be repaired. Tears should be darned.
C. KEEPING CLOTHES
1. Clothes should be folded neatly.
2. Put the same items together. Pile them with the smooth edge facing you.
3. Put the under wears on the shelves of your wardrobe or in big, clean boxes with proper labels.
4. Pull out the clothes you need carefully from the pile. Keep only the clean ones in the cabinet.
5. Hang used clothes like uniforms that may be used again.
