Student will visit the cities which are selected for the smart city projects and do survey
about the progress and their effects.
10. Pollution due to construction sites
Student will visit the construction sites nearby area and study about the effects of
pollution and safety measures they follow it.
11. Treatment of Bio-medical waste(liquid/solid) from a hospital
Students go to the UNI Hospital and survey about the medical wastes and how they
dispose it and effects of Bio- medical wastes.
12. Usable things from waste materials
Student will collect the waste materials and create decorative and usable materials from
the wastes.
13. Campaign against banned carry bags, use of loud speakers, banned fireworks,
recycling of glass and metals, filling of water body in the adjacent area.
Student will do any creative ways of awareness programs towards any of the above
social issues and raise voice against bad practices by the society.
14. Grow kitchen gardens, maintain vermin-composting pits
Student will grow kitchen garden in their house or (decorative plants) hostel rooms via
modern ways of gardening and give awareness about different varieties gardening in the
era of apartment life.
15.Oil Spillage in Ocean and New technologies for handling oil spillage
Student will do case study about Oil Spillage in Ocean, their adverse effects to the
environment and New technologies for handling oil spillage. Mainly study about the
technologies used in India for the same.
16. Case study on Solid Waste Management Practices (Municipal Corporations, Village
Panchayat, LPU campus)
Student will do case study about Solid Waste Management Practices any one of the
above field. Mainly study about the methodologies used for the same.
17. Case study on Agriculture in India in this Post modern Era
Student will do case study about Agriculture in India in this Post modern Era. Mainly
study about the new technologies and difficulties faced by the farmers.
18. Making of posters related to environment awareness
Student will use their creative drawing skills to make various posters regarding
environment awareness and keep it in common places.
19.Usage and management of left over eatable material from LPU kiosk/ hostel mess
Student will do proper case study on food waste management in LPU kiosk/ hostel mess
20. Environmental awareness in villages as well in LPU campus by street play/folk songs
(related to environmental resource)

campus and give various ways to reduce the wastage of electricity.
24.Study on the major sources/ causes of wastage of water resource in your hostel
Student will do proper case study on the major sources/ causes of wastage of water
resource in their hostel and give various ways to reduce the wastage of electricity.
25. Visit the villages adopted by LPU and talk to the villagers on how can they save
natural resources.

the campus.
