FAA ATPL （ ATP License ） Procedure

1. Requirement

 Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

 Multi Engine Land (MEL) *more than 50 hours
 Instrument Rating (IR)
 Flight Time *more than 1,500 hours
 【Reduced Training 】If you already have the type rating on foreign country’s license and have more than 250
hours on type and have flown on type within 59 months, you can choose a short course which is Reduced
Training.

2. Information of training requirement

【Step 1】 ATPCTP Program：Approximately 1 week course

Ground School 30 hours + FBS 4 hours + FFS 6 hours

【Step 2】ATP Written Test

Age：more than 18 years old Exam Time：240 minutes Style：125 questions Pass：more than 70 points

【Step 3 - ①】Type Rating Training（Initial）：Approximately 3 weeks course

*If you have 0 experience of the type.

Ground School 56 hours + FBS 8 hours + FFS 26 hours *1 + Oral 2 hours + Check Ride 3 hours（+ Support 3 hours）

【Step 3 - ②】Type Rating Training（Reduced Training）：Approximately 8 days course

* If you have the type rating on foreign country’s license and have more than 250 hours on type and have flown on
type within 59 months.

Ground School 16 hours ＋ FFS 16 hours*2 ＋ Oral 2 hours + Check Ride 3 hours（+ Support 3 hours）

*1 If you take a SOLO Training (No partner) , FFS time is 20 hours.

*2 If you take a SOLO Training (No partner), FFS time is 8 hours.

Pan Am Benefit：We have “NPNP days” which is No Partner No Problem days.

If you will take the A320, B737NG or B737CL SIM Training, you can choose the NPNP days.

For another flight school, if you take a type rating training with no partner, the training fee will be higher. But Pan
Am has a lot of individual students and instructors, so we can coordinate your partner.

3. Procedures of Training Enrollment and to get the FAA ATP License

1. Check “Contact us” on Pan Am Web Site, and send an email to Pan Am Sales Team
2. Submit all require documents (Please see the following information below)
3. Verification Letter Apply and Approved *If you have FAA license, you don’t need this process.
4. TSA Apply and Approved *If you are US citizen, you don’t need this process.
5. After issued the invoice, you need to pay the deposit at least 30% of all training fee.
6. Confirm your specific training schedules
7. Get “CPaT” Online Account *You can prepare your training and exam by CPaT which is online program.
8. Book your flights and hotel (by yourself) *Sometimes training schedule will change, so please make a reservation
with enough times and dates.
9. Complete your payment by your training start date 1 week ago.
10. Come to Pan Am
11. Check In *We will give you “Student Pass” and “Manuals”.
12. ATPCTP Program
13. ATP Written Test
14. Enroll to IACRA
15. Type Rating Training and Check Ride
16. Get a Temporary License in Pan Am (License is good for 120 days)
17. Get FAA ATP license in 2 months. *You will get the license by mail.

6. Restaurant Information

Inside Pan Am：Vending Machine (Drink and Food)

7. Transportation

You can walk from above hotels to Pan Am Training Facility, it will takes within 10 minutes by walk.

8. Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellations made more than 30 days prior to class start date, paid course fee excluding application fee and
cost of training materials is entitled for refund. In case of cancellations made less than 30 days prior to class start date,
the customer is not entitled for refund. Same policy applies in case customer is terminated from proceeding with
training.

9. Notice (Regarding Training Schedules and Duration)

No need to worry about finding a partner or paying high solo prices with our No Partner No Problem program we got
you covered with great price and excellent service as long as you are flexible with your time and dates we will provide
you with Pan Am legendary excellent training.

All initial schedules are tentative as we get close to your training dates all efforts will be put in partnering you. Kindly do
not book any time off, hotel or flight until you get the latest schedule.

Once the latest schedule is sent out we reserve the right to make changes with minimal notice to accommodate
partnering and or operational needs.
