1953  (20 of  1953),  the  Central  Government  hereby  dire,cts  that  the  following 
amendments  shall  be  made  In  the  Tea  Rules,  l!J54  published  with  the  notification 
of  the  Governm.cnt  of  India  in  the  Ministry  of  Comme.rce  and  Industry  No.  S.R.O. 
1026.  daled  tlw  25th  March,  1954,  the  said  amendments  having  been  previously 
published  as  required  by  sub.section  0) of  the  said  section,  namely:-
In  the  said  rules­for rule  39, the  following  rule  shall  be,  9ubstituted,  name]y:-
"39.  Payments  from  the  Tea  Fund.­(l)  All  ~ayments made  by  the  Central 
Government  to  the  Board  under  sectIOn  26  of  the  Act  out  of  the 
proceeds  of  the  cess  leVIed  under  sub­section  (1)  of  section  25  of  the-
Act  shall  be debited  to  the  Major  Head  '43­Industries  and  Supplies'. 
(2)   Payments  by  or  on  behalf  of  the  Board  shall  be  made  in  cash  or  by 
cheque  drawn  against  a  currClnt  account  of  the  Board."
