Ethical rules

When you think of ethics you think a set of rules you live by. Justice to me means that is
fair treatment for all people. Justice and ethics are similar because they both talk about how we
live as a person and they set the way for the decisions we put forth. The ethical framework that
guides my thinking when i make decisions is the consequentialist framework. The
Consequentialist framework is waying out all the possible outcomes in a situation.

To start, I will discuss the rules I created with the virtue mindset in mind. The first rule is
do no harm. This rule means to not hurt people with words or with physical force. This rule
relates to the virtue framework because this framework is a person's traits other the good or the
bad that will have us lean towards a specific direction. The second rule is be honest. This rule
means that being honest means that people can trust when you need it. The third rule is love
yourself. This rule means that when you have self love you have a better self awareness of
yourself. The fourth rule is have a open mind set. This means be open to new things. The fifth
rule is voicing your opinion. This means that when you are very passionate or is working hard for
something you will say something on the topic or idea to give others insight on what you know.

In addition, I created rules thinking of the consequentialist framework. One of these rules
is avoid over analyzing . This means you put too much time thinking about a certain thing but
this is not always a bad thing to do. I used the consequentialist framework for this role because I
was thinking about how people could be affected. Another rule is to follow the law. This means
that at all costs to follow the the United States thinks rules should be. A third rule I have created
was have respect towards others. This means that when you respect others you they will respect
you and they could trust you more when you are respected. A third rule is make wise choices.
This means that you know right from wrong and will make the right choice. And the last one is
self-discipline. This means that you have the discipline to do your homework without being
asked from your parents, this also could mean that you have the discipline to know what is too
much for you to accomplish in a day

I created my list by thinking about me and how I based my decisions because I wanted to
make sure that when I look back at my rules later on I could use it for the rest of my life. I
revised my rules because some of my rules were not even rules but statements. Some of my rules
were made thinking about what makes me happy and not thinking about the frameworks talked
about in class. If I lived by these rules. I would make the people around use them to. The world
would be less stressed placed and more happier place if everyone lived by these rules.
