Download Zoom App
1. Zoom cloud meetings works on your iOS devices such as iPad,
iPhone or iPod Touch. You can download the Zoom app from the
Apple App Store.
2. You can also search "Zoom" in Safari. It will direct you
to http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zoom.us-cloud-video-
meetings/id546505307 . 

Sign In
1. After you open the Zoom app, click Sign In.
2. Enter your email and password or sign in with your Google,
Facebook or an SSO account.
3. If you do not have a Zoom account, you should click Sign Up.




Join a Meeting

1. Select Join a Meeting.


2. Enter the Meeting ID of the meeting you want to join.
3. Click Join.

Start an Instant Meeting (iPhone)
®
1. Select Schedule or Host Meeting.
2. To start an instant meeting, select the meeting options:
 Choose to have Video On or off
 Choose to Use Personal Meeting ID or a unique meeting
ID.

3. Click Start a Meeting.
4. Invite meeting participants by clicking the Invite icon at the
bottom of the screen.  
NOTE: If the icons are not at the bottom of the screen, tap the
screen to reveal the icon options.

Start an Instant Meeting (iPad)


1. Select Meet Now on the Home screen.
2. Select the meeting type:
 Video Meeting
 Screen Share Meeting
 Whiteboard
3. Invite meeting participants by clicking the Invite icon at the top

of the screen.
NOTE: If the icons are not at the top of the screen, tap the screen to

reveal the icon options.


View Upcoming Meetings (iPhone)

1. Select Schedule or Host Meeting.


2. Select Upcoming Meetings.
3. A list of your upcoming meetings appears. Click Start to
start a meeting in the list.



View Upcoming Meetings (iPad)
1. Select the Meetings icon on the left side of the Home page.
2. A list of your upcoming meetings appears.
3. Click Start to start a meeting in the list.


Schedule a Meeting (iPhone)
1. Click Schedule or Host a Meeting.
2. Click Schedule Meeting.
3. Enter the meeting details. The meeting options include:
 Meeting Name
 Start Time
 Duration
 Time Zone
 Repeat the meeting
 Turn Host Video On or Off
 Turn Attendee Video On or Off  
 Choose Audio Option – Telephone Only, Voip Only, Both or
3rd Party Audio options
 Enter a Meeting Password, if needed.
 Select Allow Join Before Host if you will let participants join  
before the host joins.
 Select whether you will Use PMI (Personal Meeting ID) or not
use a PMI.

NOTE: Certain options only appear if the option is enabled for
your account.
4. Click Done after selecting the meeting options.
5. On the New Event screen, click Invitees to add attendees.
6. Click Add. The invitations are sent automatically to invitees and
the meeting is added to your Upcoming Meetings list.


Schedule a Meeting (iPad)
1. Click Schedule on the Home page.
2. Enter the meeting details. The meeting options include:

 Meeting Name
 Starts (Time)
 Duration
 Time Zone 
 Repeat the meeting 
 Turn Host Video On or Off
 Turn Attendee Video On or Off
 Choose Audio Option – Telephone Only, Voip Only, Both or
3rd Party Audio options
 Enter a Meeting Password, if needed.
 Select Allow Join Before Host if you will let participants join
before the host joins. 
 Select whether you will Use PMI (Personal Meeting ID) or not
use a PMI.
NOTE: Certain options only appear if the option is enabled for
your account.
3. Click Done after selecting the meeting options.
4. On the New Event screen, click Invitees to add attendees.
5. Click Add. The invitations are sent automatically to invitees and
the meeting is added to your Upcoming Meetings list.
Add and View Contacts
1. Click the Contacts icon to view your contacts.
2. Click the plus (+) sign to add contacts. You can:
 Invite Contact by Email, or

 Add Phone Contacts.
3. You can also select a contact and do one of the following:
 Place a Zoom Video Call
 Chat with the contact,
 Make a Free Phone Call to the contact, or
 Do a Screen Share with the contact.


Settings
1. Click the Settings icon to view settings. The setting you can view
and change are described below:

Profile Screen Name Click to change your current screen name,


and Photo or, to add or change your photo.

Phone Contacts Lets Zoom discover your phone contacts.


Matching

Meetings Set audio and video options, Airplay


option, and meeting reminder option.

Messages Set message notification options and


show contacts option.

About View the Zoom version, send feedback to


Zoom, tell others about Zoom and rate
the Zoom App in the App Store. 
Settings: Profile Settings
1. Click on your profile name.
2. Click Profile Photo to add or change your photo.
3. Select your photo by using your camera or selecting a photo
from your photo album.

4. Click Screen Name to make changes to your name. 
5. Select to Use Touch ID feature on your phone or turn it off.
(Default is Touch ID is on). Touch ID may not appear for on your

account.

Settings: Phone Contacts Matching (iPhone only)

1. Click Phone Contacts Matching.


2. If you are matching the phone for the first time, you are
prompted to enter your phone number. Type in your phone
number and click Continue.
3. When you receive the verification code text message, enter the
verification code and click Next. Your phone numbers are
matched but are not stored in the Zoom cloud.  
4. When you want to disable phone contacts matching, click Phone
Contact Matching and click Disable.


Settings: Meetings
1. Click Meetings to view the Meetings settings. The settings are
described below:

Auto Connect Audio Automatically connect audio using the


Internet when joining a meeting.

Always Mute My Always mute my microphone when


Microphone joining a meeting.

Always Turn Off My Always turn off my video when joining a


Video meeting.

AirPlay Turn on AirPlay if you want to show the


Zoom app via AirPlay.

Meeting Reminder Zoom will remind you to join upcoming


meetings.

Settings: Messages
1. Click Messages to view the Message settings. The settings are
described below:

Message Enable Zoom notifications by going to the


Notifications iPhone Settings > Notifications when
notifications is disabled.

In-App Vibrate Specify your notification preferences by


Sound and/or Vibration when a new
In-App Alert Sound message arrives.

Show Offline Show all your contacts including contacts


Contacts that are currently offline.
Settings: About

1. Click About to view the About settings. The settings are


described below:

Version Displays the current version of Zoom you


are using.

Send Feedback Allows you to send Zoom feedback on the


Zoom app.

Tell Others about Lets you contact people to tell them


Zoom about the Zoom app.

Rate Zoom in the Brings you to the App Store in order to


App Store rate the app.
