10) Taxation & Inflation
Return after tax = Investment return – (investment return x tax rate)
Return after tax and inflation = Return after tax – inflation rate
Eg: Tax rate is 20%, Investment return is 10% and Inflation rate is 3%.
Return after Tax = 10% - (10% x 20%)
= 10% - 2%
= 8%
