■ Independent Study Mentorship is a course


offered at Clear Springs High School.

■ Students are expected to meet with a mentor in a


chosen career three hours a week, complete an
online portfolio, and create a final product and
presentation each semester.

Current Event

■ Research at the University of Philadelphia shows that restorations using stem cells
from baby teeth can produce better results than traditional filings.
■ Could form a new tooth in the future
■ Regains feeling in teeth

Conclusion

■ I hope to learn more about different dental procedures and how a dental office
operations.
■ From my project, I hope to learn about composite restorations and the specific steps
pertaining to the procedure.
