SUBJECT : Spot Report re – Violation of Presidential Decree 1602

DATE : August 28, 2018

1. Reference: Memorandum from the Regional Director dated August 27,

2018 with subject Reiteration to Conduct Simultaneous Police Operations against Illegal
Numbers game and other Forms of Illegal Gambling.

2. In reference above, please be informed that at about 6:30 pm of August

28, 2018 while PNP personnel of Bansalan Municipal Police Station were conducting
monitoring on illegal gambling activity within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) they were
able to caught in the act the following persons playing card games (Baraha) with bet
money at Brgy. Sto Niño. Km 81, Bansalan, Davao del Sur to wit: one Reynaldo
Batingal Ariola, 56 years old, widower, farmer, one Reynaldo Quinco, 47 years old,
married farmer and one Carlos Agusila Canillas, 54 years old, married, pedicab driver
and were all a residents of Brgy. Sto Niño, Km. 81, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. Said
arrested persons were properly appraised of their constitutional rights. Confiscated from
the control and possession of the arrested persons are the following to wit:

a. Fourteen (14) pieces 20 peso bill;

b. Two (2) pieces 50 peso bill;
c. One (1) pieces 100 peso bill;
d. Eight (8) pieces of five (5)peso coins and;
e. Playing cards.

3. The arrested suspects and the confiscated items were now in the custody of
Bansalan MPS and a case for Violation of PD 1602 is being prepared against the
suspects. Investigator on case PO1 Wilfred Evan G Son - 09308031767.
