6. How do you motivate employees to stay in your organization?

First of all, we have to maintain a good dealer and employee relationship. You have to let them
peel that they are very important to us and to the business and you have to give them your respect and
you have to listen also to their problems, opinion and the most important one is you have to give the
right salary and benefits that is approved in your area or in the region. And also motivation, you have to
motivate them that we hope… that their family will continuous progress the life because we are here to
support them and some motivation in how what we have learned during our experienced in life, so we
shared to them. So, we become an inspiration in our employee. Also that… well you know by our
employee, the father of our employee become a driver, the brother of one our employee is also working
in the government. Wherein I introduced him or recommended him. Like that, so we have to support
them, we have to support the family organization because their also the one who will help you… what I
mean to say that your employee, you have to bring them up and when you bring them up, they will put
you up also. So, that is your success.

7. What do you think is the company’s strengths and weaknesses?

Well the company’s strengths are that we have a strong organization, we have strong family,
and we have also good relationship to the local official and also the private, individuals of our customer,
that is our strength. Also we are… we can say that the we are financial capable. The weakness is that…
well our company sometimes they don’t recognize the hard chip made by the partners… their partners
like us and even though that we do our best to communicate with them, to suggest with them. They are
very luxy in attending these problem. That the weaknesses that we found in our relationship in our
partner but… well it is also our initiative to… sometimes I went to the main station and I asked the head
and we talked the head of the Petron and I make some suggestion that we will fall down in this scenario
if we will not support the partner, like us. So, they come into our station, they make an investigation,
they make an inspection and they found out some our equipment here because it’s about 20 years
already or 19 years or 18 years but they’ve not replace it in spite that we have maintain it regularly and
they found out that “this station already 18 years but they maintain”. So, we have… they found out, they
have to replace of some our equipment. So, sometimes our main office they learned from some regular
inspection, regular meeting and to find out some of the problems that their us. That is the one of
weaknesses that we found from them, they should have made partner’s station hanging on and for a
replacement and make some solution to all these problem. That the weaknesses that we found out. You
know the prices of these fuel, we are not the one dictating or what. The prices are being sent to us by
the company and even these increases, like today there are increase in diesel and gasoline they will send
a text to us that starting today at 6 o’clock am we have to add 20 cents, 25 cents for diesel or gasoline.

8. Being an oil company, what do you think are the opportunities and threats it encounters?

For me, being a dealer and since we have this business for a long time, I think this is the great
opportunity for us because we can… this business will be a lifetime business for us and this will help a
lot, even our grandson, granddaughter and even also their siblings they will help them since this it will
become our lifetime business. One of the strategy that we have to do like now is we put up some other
business like: Yellow cab, Seven-eleven and other product which could help assist… well we have
gasoline station. So, whatever fuel or whatever thing that could help our station, our main business will
be… like farming, we have also farming, we have also agriculture supply. So, all of their needs for a fuel
will be given by our Petron station. So, these could help us in establishing a progressive business. We are
now experiencing these… not like before that we have customer but now we are experiencing a lesser
customer maybe because of this inflation and because of too much competitors around us, especially
these generic station. So, we need to put up another business like what he mentioned just to help and
support also us.
