XX Promulgated on_December 13, 2018 RESOLUTION NO.L0465 WHEREAS, numerous cases have been filed pursuant to the May 2019 National and Local Elections (May 2019 NLE); WHEREAS, the Commission is tasked to resolve these cases with dispatch to ensure that the timelines set by the Commission for the May 2019 NLE are met; NOW THEREFORE, the Commission on Elections, by virtue of the powers granted to it by the Constitution and the Omnibus Election Code, RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to promulgate the following rules, further amending and augmenting for this purpose Resolution 9914 to read as follows 1. Special raffle for urgent cases, as determined by the Chairman or Presiding Commissioner, may be conducted in the presence of majority of the members of the en bane or Division or their authorized representatives, as the case may be. XXX 8. A Commissioner with an approved official travel or leave for a period exceeding five (5) calendar days shall be exempt from raffle for the period covered thereby.
