Daniel: Well, this morning I saw on tv that the government has implemented a law
project to the legislative about doing the mandatory military service, again. I'm
very reluctant with this law.
Daniel: Sorry, but I disagree with you, guys. I understand Gabriela's point of
view. For me, doing military service won't go over too well with a lot of people
and even it's mandatory. Besides that, my brother told me that military service was
a run-of-the-mill experience. Also, he explained me there had seen unknown places.
I don't like to wander off the beaten path.
Daniel: Yes, but where will all the money come from? With this measure this country
will blow a lot of money in the budget. I wonder how much it would impact in the
national economy.
Daniel: Besides that, Can someone tell me what relevant things I could learn being
there?
Daniel: Can you tell me wether or not a big commitment for Per� is doing military
service. Also, I don't know if a good idea is to be pressuring us to do something
we don't want.
Daniel: Well, If I were to govern this country, I would propose military service
such as volunteer. Finally, if I modified the law about gap year, I could apply the
law just for people who aren't compatible with their studies or jobs.
