About MKSSS :
Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS) was established in 1896 by a
great visionary and social worker Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Karve to provide
education to women and make them self-reliant. MKSSS, Pune has many branches
in Maharashtra and 29,000 girl students are being educated at present. Over the
period of last 122 years, the Institution has grown manifold. At present, the institute is
operates 62 educational units. All these units are meant exclusively for women.

Today, Samstha endures its noble mission of educating and empowering women
making them a responsible and well-brought up citizens of India. Samstha has 26
primary and secondary schools, D.Ed. colleges and Adivasi Ashram Shala
(Residential School for Tribal Students). Apart from this Samstha also runs Higher
Education & professional colleges such as arts and commerce college, engineering,
architecture, management, fashion technology, information technology, nursing
and vocational institutes. The institute also provide hostel facility for girl students and
working women.

Course Content:
The Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics is a one year course with 4
modules – Mechanical, Electronics, Vehicle Systems and Soft Skills.

Two week On Job Training (OJT) at workshop of Mercedes Benz dealers network to
perform a maintenance service activity and practice the various aspects of vehicle
maintenance. The progress will be continuously monitored with tests conducted at
the end of each module.

Faculty:
Faculty with rich understanding and experience in the domain, trained on
Automotive Mechatronics at Mercedes-Benz Plant in Chakan, Pune. with individual
experience of maintaning and repairing Mercedes-Benz cars.

Objectives of the Course:

The main objective for introducing this 1 year diploma is to ensure adequacy of
skilled automobile experts considering the high end technology and innovation. The
Mercedes-Benz Academy is involved in planning the course syllabus, development
of modern electronics lab, carbay and aggregate training rooms which are
equipped with Mercedes-Benz engines. This advanced diploma will create qualified,
industry ready skilled manpower to be recruited at dealership of Mercedes-Benz as
well as other renowned brands automobiles, automotive manufacturing plants and
also at automotive R&D centers.

Tuition Fee:
The ADAM course tuition fee is Rs.1,00,000/- INR

Course Intake:
20 Students (Girls)

Certification
On successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a certificate jointly
by MKSSS and Mercedes-Benz India Ltd. This certificate is globally recognized.
Certified students will be considered as Certified Maintenance Technicians (CMT)

Admission to this course is through ADAM Entrance Test (AET).
