Job Nature:

As a Linux System Administrator my responsibilities include installation Linux Servers for various
Services, Configurations, Maintenance and Trouble-shooting Servers, Patch Management. Taking Backup
& Restore of MySQL Database, Handling mail Issues, Quota Management, Backup and
Restore, user/group administration, Cluster Configure, & its Health Status Monitoring, Proxy Server
(SQUID) Configure and control, Barracuda Spam Filter Control, LOG Maintains with Syslog Server,
Nagios Server, Clustering, Load Balancing, Network Load Balancing etc.

Project Details:

● As a Senior Solution Integrator my basic role is looking after Installation, Upgradation,

Troubleshooting of OSS-RC Telecommunication Services which controlled by Ericsson Network.

● As a HPC lab senior engineer my basic role is looking after Cluster health status, node management,
installation new node, connection status, load on each node etc.
● As a Domain Expert in Antivirus Server-Client Project my role is Installation Server 2003, Install
Kaspersky Antivirus Server, Server Console Management, Policies, Client Install through Net Agent Client,
Update Repository, Online/Offline Up gradation etc.

● As a Linux admin at SAIL project my responsibilities are installing and configuring Linux
Operating system as well as Troubleshooting, like Mail, RSP-Portal Server, User management like creation
deletion users, Patch management through YUM Server and applying Update into Mail Antivirus, Log
details, Server hardening etc. Maintain SLA; create day by day activities reports then send it to my higher
authorities.

● As a Linux Mail admin at BHEL project my responsibilities are installing and configuring Linux
Operating system as well as various server like Mail, Squid proxy, Syslog Server, MySQL Database Backup
& Restore, Fine Tuning, Database creation, User Authentication on Database, User management like
creation deletion users, Trouble Shoot users a login problem, Patch management through YUM Server, Log
details, Server hardening etc. Maintain SLA; create day by day activities reports then send it to my higher
authorities. Upgrade new facilities coming with Linux and apply it on standby server if it has no problem
then apply it with production Server, Daily Backup, File synchronized with full permission and restore if its
require for emergency. Mounting Server with SAN, EVA maintains, Network Load Balancing.
