Career Objective:-
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Pipe joint fit-up and dimensional checking as per latest isometric drawing
and relevant WPS.
Piping spools erection and checking for alignment, slope and orientation.
Gap Inspections, Leak Tests, Deflection, Lamination Inspection.
Responsible for the installation of FRP pipeline project.
Provide all technical and managerial support for the proper execution.
Required material and technical support.
Coordinate with the execution team for site supervision.
Conduct all mechanical tests according to Aramco project specifications.
Record all documents, work hard to close all RFIs and NCRs.
Walkthrough and QC Punch listing prior to hydro test.
Verification of Calibration certificates for Pressure Gauges, Manifold and
Relief Valve etc.
Preparation and review of Hydro Test Package and witness of Hydrostatic
test.
Witness Flushing and Cleaning of Piping system.
Gasket verification, Bolt torque tightness witnessing, High point & Low
point checking.
To attend QA/QC meetings with Project Management Team (PMT).
Review, Ensuring & implementation of Project Quality Plan (PQP).
Audits of Subcontractor mechanical activities and review quality control
system.
Review and approval of the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and
Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per specifications and
standards for different materials.
Review and approval of Inspection Test Plan (ITP) QA/QC procedures
and implementation,
Review and monthly audit for contractor’s Quality System.
Conducting site inspector’s trainings, meetings, performance evaluating,
and issuance weekly & monthly progress reports.
Monitoring pipeline activities, stringing, welding, laying, hydro testing,
backfilling etc.
Assesses the Quality Control Plans of sub-contractors and identify any
necessary corrective measures.
Issuance of non-conformance reports (NCR) and action for timely
closing.
Welding inspection, peaking, banding check of vertical & horizontal
joints.
Nozzles orientation, fit-up, alignment, level & welding inspection
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Mark the item number on the item and segregate item wise.
Supervision and QC Inspection of personnel working in site on daily basis to
ensure that client quality requirements are fully complied with PO.
To ensure all Inspection completed packages shall be moved to inspection
completed Area and separate based on Accepted / CNR.
Responsible to maintain the Quality document system and preparation of
packages upon completion.
Implementation and monitoring of work and process as per drawing
specification, procedures and instructions established by the quality control
Department.
Receiving TPI Packages from Buyers for TPI assignment. Checking for
completeness of the package received against standard requirements.
Following up and getting missing documents where the package is
incomplete.
Generate TPI Assignment Documents and advice to Manufacturer on TPI
Assignment. Get the Documents signed by Sr. Materials Engineer
(Inspection).
Verify TPI Release Notes are in-line with PO requirements and advise TPI
agency any discrepancies.
Ensure all Approved Documents, TPI Reports, Release Notes, Final
Certification and documentation are documented electronically in SAP.
Follow up with designated department on approval / endorsement of proof
load test certificates.
Preparing Corrective and Preventive Action Request (CPAR) as per the Non-
conformance found in audits.
KEY SKILLS:

Also responsible for defining and developing Strategies and plans to ensure
compliances with Established Codes, Standards, Working as QA/QC
Engineer Reporting to manager of Company.
Review applicable standard and Specification , Subcontractor’s /
Supplier’s Quality documentation Including welding Procedure , NDE
procedure and ITP’S in order to ensure the effective Quality Management
on site QC inspection and testing activities .
Knowledge of various international codes and standards - ASME Sec II, IX,
VIII Div.1 ASME B31.3.ASME B 16.5, and API570,API 510, API 578.
Supervising all QC Inspector for job responsibility and monitoring arranging
stage wise inspection in order to implement the Quality.
Coordinate with Consultant and Client in all Quality activities as required
for project.
Supervise construction contractors during the execution of construction
activities at the construction sites.
Supervise and approve construction activities & co-ordinate various aspects
of project construction including inspections, materials submission and
work drawing from contractors, processing documentation as required.
Ensures that the quality of material used in construction, and the quality of
all equipment installed is in accordance with project specifications.
Ability in man management & motivation & safety leader ship.
Review plan and drawing in accordance with specification, code and
standard.
Monitor daily discipline activities and verifies compliance to project
procedures specifications.
Preparation of Non Conformity Report (NCR) Corrective Action Required
(CAR).
Monitoring the arrangement of RFI for client to witness the activities.
Coordinating with client for acceptance of activities.
Resolution of quality problems.
Liaison with the client on quality related matters.
Conduct weekly Look ahead Meeting with Top Management.
Monitoring Punch listing for completion of work.
Monitoring Test Pack related to the projects as per system.
Coordination with Foreman/ Subcontractor regards to their daily activities.
Ensure safety practices on site as well as observe and resolve safety
problems.
Report specific activities in daily and weekly reports.
Inform Group leader about any technical problems that may arise at site to
avoid delaying of working schedule.
Interface with other departments: Engineering, QC, and Civil Construction.
Record equipment installation pumps, compressors, Air Dryers, Filters,
heaters, tanks, Heat-exchangers etc.
Attend meetings and advise Subcontractor the priorities to be taken into
consideration.
Attend internal meeting with other Discipline (if required) for matters to be
clarified.
Monitor work progress in accordance with their submitted work schedule.
Keep an evidence of the progress and report to the manager.
Coordinate piping fabrication activities for shut down activities.
Coordinate piping spools pressure tests.
Coordinate piping installation according to the refurbishment schedule.
Check the piping NDT status as per needs.
Coordinate the Hydro Test, Flushing, mechanical completion etc.
Check the painting and insulation status as per schedule & Specification.
Commissioning, start up and Hand over to the client according approved
procedures.
Executing all activities in line with current health and safety standards and
procedures, to ensure that all safe working practices are documented with
appropriate risk assessments.
