Report on visit to Embassy Golf Links Bussiness park.

We have visited the above site on 07.02.2019 and observed the leaks reported in the coils supplied vide
our Inv No :054 dated 12.01.2017 .

-The coils were installed ,leak tested and commissioned with a fortnight of our supply.

-The coils were holding pressure till last week ie for two years when the leaks were reported

- Some leaks were repaired without following the proper procedure and method followed to arrest
leaks .

- Out of 24 coils supplied five were reported to have leak .

- All the leaks are observed only in those coils ( which are outside portion of chiller and also in all in the
front row of the three rows of the coils )

- The 12 nos of coils which are on the inner portion of the chiller and 2 nos which are not having easy
access are not having any leak.

- The above observations clearly indicate a possibility of foul play.

The process of manufacturing the coils involves the hydraulic expansion to 1600 PSIG ,and leak testing
with 400 psig N2 pressure . The coils kept under the same pressure for minimum 24 hours with pressure
gauge fixed . Only after ascertaining that there is no leak the coils are sealed with pressure and delivered

So there is no question of leaks developing after installation and commissioning as the working
pressure is below 300 psig .

Also We have supplied to M/S.Blue Star Ltd site in Chennai against P.O No: 2000142701 Dt 03.01.2017
on 30.01.2017 and toM/S.Trane India ltd on 26.012.2016( 5486 mm(216”) X 1067 mm(42”) X 3 Row - 8
Nos) no problems are reported till date.

The copper tubes used in all coils are IMPORTED internal grooved and the scope of leaking / bursting is
not reported in any of our supplies to many Blue Star Ltd sites and other client's sites .

Only the possibility of leaks are wrong handling during transport and installation ,which are reported
within few days/weeks from the date of the supply . The other occurrence of leaks are normally at
joints due to improper brazing or exposure of bear copper to atmosphere which is polluted with
chemical gases which effect copper. No centre tube leaks were reported so far from any site.

In conclusion we state that the leaks reported are not due to use of low quality material or any
manufacturing defects. We show in the picture attached, that the leak emits from an opening of 1-1.5
mm length (which across/perpendicular to the length of the tube which clearly shows the foul play)

Thanking you
