mortals, and what her realms of influence are. I'm intending on doing compare and

contrast on a variety of the Greel/Roman gods between their two interpritations and this

will be instrumental in my Athena-Minerva comparison.

Mark Cartwright's article details out many of the orgigns and myths of Hera. In do doing

so he also explains many aspects pf her personality like her incredible ability to hold a

grudge against her husband's other love interest. This source will be instrumental in

talking about the Greek aspect of the queen of the gods.

the Romans. Again, this citation will be used to campare Minerva to her Greek

counterpart Athena as I plan to do with a variety of dieties.

This source while brief on every topic touches a lot of topics and allows for someinsight

on gods and goddesses that are difficult to find on other websites. It also inclused

goddesses such at Letona who can be used to lean about the gods researched such as

Apollo.

This article describes a goddess who morphed into the Roman form of Hera when the

Romans took the Greek peninsula. She is one of the three dieties, along with Jupiter and

Minerva, worshipped on the Quirinal in Rome. Still, Hera is seen to be one of the Roman

gods that differs most from his or her Greek counterpart and Wasson explains this.
