 Partner Golf, A/B flights

 “A” flight has the lower handicap week to week. Handicap is Truncated.
 First half standings, Second half standings and season standings.
 Second half standings restart points at zero.
 Season standings include first half points and second half points.
 Each hole is worth 1 point.
 1 bonus point for shooting your handicap or better.
 Out of bounds shots and lost balls are played as “line of flight”, one penalty stroke.
 Maximum stroke limit of double par unless points are at stake. Any unfinished hole will be
scored as a double par first. If you picked up before determining points, then you will be
scored as the first stroke total that loses the hole.
 No rain out make-ups.
 Regular Season Subs
o Subs will always play opponent of absent league golfer.
o Subs must declare a handicap before the round.
o The President reserves the right to change a new sub handicap after the round.
 Absent golfers will use the score card of a random ghost sub selected by the software.
 Absent golfers’ opponent will score against the random card scoring a minimum of 5 points.
 Absent golfers cannot score more than 3 points total and cannot receive a bonus point.
 A random ghost sub is any golf score from that week, randomly selected by the software.
 Standard scoring system.
 All equipment used must be conforming. No illegal golf balls and no illegal golf clubs.
 All putts must be made unless otherwise given by your opponent.
 Fluffing is a match decision. Never assume, always ask. It’s on you and your opponents to
decide before the round.

 Knock Down Round Subs (week 9 and 18)

o Subs for knock down rounds can be used
o Knock down subs must have at least 3 rounds at Brookledge in our League.
o Absent golfers will use the score card of a random ghost sub selected by the
software.
o Absent golfers’ opponent will score against the random card scoring a minimum of 4
points.
o Absent golfers cannot score more than 3 points total and cannot receive a bonus
point.
 First/Second half 2-team Tie breakers
1. Head to Head Season match points(total).
2. Match Knock Down round cards
3. Match handicap holes, starting with #1.
4. Total points.
5. Match cards starting with previous week to week 1.
 First/Second half multiple team ties
1. Head to head matches.
2. Match knock down round cards.
3. Match handicap holes for knock down round starting with #1.
4. Total points.
5. Match cards starting with previous week to week 1.
 Season standings ties
1. Head to head matches
2. Match cards starting with the last week to week 1.
 Playoffs
o The last 3 Tuesdays of the season will be the play-offs.
o Playoff handicaps will be the lowest handicap of the season for each golfer and will
be locked through the playoffs.
o First half and second half winners will each have automatic semi final bids.
o If the same team wins both halves, They will have automatically be in the finals. The
next 8 teams will have a playoff.
o Championship will be 18 holes played on a Saturday at our season ending outing.
o Playoff subs for week 1 of the playoffs must be approved by the president. They
must have an established handicap in our league via our rules.
o Playoff subs following week 1 will come from the league golfers that have been
eliminated from the playoffs by random draw.
o Playoff sub handicap will be the subs lowest handicap of the season minus 2 strokes.
o Playoff make up round can be made if agreed by all opponents. Must be made prior
to Tuesday scheduled league playoff match.
o Playoff rain outs must be made up with your match partners before Tuesday.
o Handicaps lock for playoffs after final week of regular season.
o If playoff opponent is absent, your opponent will receive 0 points and you will still
randomly match cards for your points.

 Playoff ties
o Before starting the play-off round, agree with opponents on:
 Play-off holes, at least one before darkness
 Handicap hole scores starting with #1 handicap hole.
 Golf Course Relief
o There is no relief from any mulch beds on the golf course. You must play it out of the
mulch beds.
o There is no relief from any fence that is lining out of bounds (3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13,
14). If the shot is in bounds and deemed unplayable, take a 1 stroke penalty, and
move the ball to its nearest point of relief no closer to the hole. If your ball lies OB,
take line of flight.
o Between 1 and 18, if your ball lies in or near the oil well fence and if and only if the
fence obstructs your swing, you will get free relief. Find the nearest point of relief no
closer to the hole.
o If you ball lies close enough to a bees nest, you will get free relief to the nearest point
of relief no closer to the hole.
o On the 12 hole, par three, any lost ball before, next to or behind the green will be
placed at the drop area. If not designated by the course, it is deemed to be the area
behind and slightly right of the hole.

 Tee Box Assignments

 o Any gentleman over the age of 60 can play from the white tee markers.
o Any female can play from the red tee markers.
o Any golfer with a handicap 13 or higher for the week can play the white tee markers.
 Yes, this can change on a week to week basis. Deal with it
 Golfers can not change tee boxes during a round.
o Any other golfer can play from the blue tee markers.

 NET SKINS 2019

 Skins will be broken down into 2 halves.
 Each half costs $27 and must be paid by the first week of the half
o First half due by April 9th
o Second half due by June 11th
 No bills larger than a ten please!!!! Ones work best!!!!!!!!!!!!
 Skins include all Par three Proximities each week.
 Skins will still be “NET” skins in 2019
