Reasons

I have a lot of free time in my last semester, so I want to support Indonesia in this event. It will be my
pleasure to support this event. I want to have a brand new relation in order to gain a whole tremendous
new experience.

Describe myself

My name is Ryan. I live in Depok city. I am 23 years old and moslem. I am gifted with healthy body and
mind by Allah-SWT. I have a lot of good friends and family that support me to live my life. I have been
interested in learning English since I was in Junior High School and good at speaking and grammatical
writing skills. Joining college student organizations improve my skill of management that includes
problem solving, team motivation and my individual mentoring is remarkably efficient. I am a workaholic
in which trying hard at every business I decided to do. I am having well-behave attitude and good sense
of humor that leads to the team harmony and never take things personally. I currently in money-
oriented person state. It sure takes a lot of money to finish my study. I am barely survive my current
study because of the support of my family, so I want to have my own income to fund my study.

Why am I interested in asianparagames

I am interested in this event because I think I want to be closer to the world and see it from many
different perspectives especially the world of disabilities. I see something different, something really
strong comes out of their heart and I am very curious about it. I am curious about their spirit of
competing despite of their disabilities. It is like if you have no disabilities, you may not have given much
thought to the financial, psychological and emotional ramifications of not being able to do things that
perfectly healthy people do automatically. If you look physically healthy, you may not have any
awareness of the painful discrimination in all areas of life that people with disabilities live with on a daily
basis. It will be my time for my empathy. In this event, I know I can imagine myself in a wheelchair trying
to negotiate a steep curb, trying to enter a building or some form of transportation, or attempting to
enter a bathroom that fails to accommodate me. Aside from these and countless similar situations being
inconvenient, they are very disempowering. They send the messages that I am not a worthy human
being. I think it will motivate me in some ways that I want this event to be my focus because i think it
might be granting me a tremendous priceless work experiences. I know that this event is my opportunity
to do my practice as a student of English Education of Siliwangi University because this event is really
related to the community that is communicating in using international languages, so there will be no
event that fits my subject more than this. I am still young, there are always a way to explore new ideas,
ways of doing things. A lot of times, silly and mediocre stuffs comes out of it.

My opinion of Para games and para athletes

I think there is stigmas associated in some countries regarding people with disabilities. The society
paradigm was the main issue.
