What is a Transport System?
A transport system is a means by which materials are moved from an
exchange surface or an exchange surface to cell located throughout the
organisms.

Transport System in Plants

Plants have systems for the transportation of substances, using two different
types of transport tissue. Xylem transports water and solutes from the roots
to the leaves, while the Phloem transports food from the leaves to all parts
of the plant.

Water movement through plants

The major path for water movement into plants is from soil to roots. Water
enters near the tip of a growing root, the same region where root hairs grow.
The surface of the root hairs needs to be in close contact with the soil to
access soil water. Water diffuses into the root, where it can take at least three
different pathways to eventually reach the xylem, the conduit located at the
interior of the root that carries the soil water to the leaves. View the next
level of this animation to see the possible pathways that water can take
across a root.

Cacti in the desert have survived because their leaves have evolved Plants
into non- photosynthetic spines. Evapotranspiration is the release of Relative Humidity, Temperature, Water, Wind. The environmental factors
water vapour during photosynthesis. When stoma on a leaf is opened affecting transpiration in plants include light, relative humidity,
water is released. temperature, availability of water, and wind. Specifically, these are climatic
elements which also affect photosynthesis and other plant growth and
development processes.
