HOW WILL GET AROUND IN THE FUTURE?

It’s a good question because people always want to know how we will transport in the
future. In fact, it’s necessary to have money and technology to make reality: a flying
saucer or a personal jet – pack. But now, I’m going to talk about four futuristic forms of
transportation:

1. Flying Car
This new type of transportation will be powered
by solar energy with the objective to reduce the
pollution. Exactly, the creation of Flying Car is
going to cost two hundred fifty thousand dollars to
produce each car. The difference between Flying
Cars and normal cars is that they can fly. In my
opinion, it is a perfect way to avoid the traffic. A
five months from now, we will be doing a survey
in different parts of the world because the
company needs to have statistics about this
innovative product. Depending of the continent, the cost of Flying Car will be different
for citizens. For example: in Europe, the cost will be three hundred thousand dollars; in
other hand, in Africa, the cost will be three hundred fifty thousand dollars. The reason of
this difference is to move this car to other country or continent. By the time, the company
finishes to prove the Flying Car, the company will has sold this product in different parts
of the world. But its potential downsides will be the cost, the maintenance and the energy
to keep active the Flying Car. It will only work during the night. I think the people will
want to reduce the cost of combustible in their cars. For this main reason, the people, who
have the enough economic resources, have to pay for Flying Car since it’s possible in the
future the petroleum will disappear.

2. Maglev train
Have you ever traveled to other country or city
by train? If you have ever felt tired after the trip
because it is really boring since it takes too
much time to travel. But in several years, the
way of traveling will be different. Maglev train
already exists today but it is not really perfected.
This kind of train is lightning quick, clean and
expensive. Maglev train is powered by
magnetism. People won’t use carbon or
gasoline in trains like the old railway. In other
hand, the cost of making one maglev train is really expensive. The first prototype of
Maglev train was designed in 1984 by Britain. It costs a lot of million dollars to design
the Maglev train and to keep in good state. But in 2019, the scientists are going to reduce
its cost because it’s not really economic for the nations to invest in Maglev train though
it’s beneficious to the environment. I believe when the nations become aware of
environment, they will invest in Maglev train.

3. Space Elevator
It sounds like a science – fiction idea but it could
be real. A space elevator is like a normal elevator
that transports you from the Earth to the Moon in
a few minutes. It will be powered by nuclear
energy. In the future, the people will be visiting
every day the moon as if were a city. As soon as
you are going to enter to the space elevator, you
will be in the Moon. But the cost of it is illogical,
the scientists and engineers believe that project
will cost a lot of billion dollars. Recent researches demonstrate that if the scientists can
discover “dark matter”, we would build a big space elevator from the Earth to Mars. By
January 1st, 5000 – we will have been traveled to any part of the universe in a matter of
minutes.

4. Sky Tran
Sky Tran is a personal rapid transit system. This
system will replace the taxis and buses. It is
powered by magnetism like Maglev train. This
idea was proposed by inventor Douglas Malewicki
in 1990. However, it wasn’t designed because the
Sky Tran depends of magnetic bands who their
cost in each band per meter is one hundred million
dollars. That is only for the bands, and the
equipment of Sky Tran is going to cost one billion
dollars. Sky Tran only covers the area of one city. The Sky Tran has the same problem
about costing as Maglev Train but with the difference of the Maglev was designed, and
the Sky Train is just an idea. When someone decide to invest in Sky Tran, we are going
to pass less time in the traffic.

In conclusion, the same problem of each futuristic form of transportation is the money to
make reality the project. In other hand, these forms of transportation will be beneficial
for the environment and will reduce the stress of people caused by the traffic.
