A RESOLUTION EXTENDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

AMOUNTING P 3,500.00 TO THE NORTH CABADBARAN
DISTRICT, DepEd, THRU ARSENIO T. CORNITES, JR., DISTRICT
SUPERVISOR, FOR THE PURCHASE OF UNIFORMS OF THE
PLAYERS WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE DIVISION SPORTS
CHALLENGE TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 14-15, 2008 AT THIS
CITY, CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE LEGISLATIVE
CONSTITUENCY SUPPORT PROGRAM OF THE OFFICE OF
THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD.

WHEREAS, the school administrators of North Cabadbaran District,

DepEd, this City sent a letter addressed to Vice-Mayor Robert N. Cong
requesting financial assistance for the purchase of uniforms of the district players
who will participate in the 2008 Division Sports Challenge to be held at
Cabadbaran City on November 14-15, 2008;

WHEREAS, the school administrators of North Cabadbaran District who

are requesting for the financial support are the following:

1. Arsenio T. Cornites, Jr. - District Supervisor

4. Fildred P. Suan - Assistant Principal (NORCACES-SSES)

WHEREAS, the Honorable Body finds the request worthy of support as

the activity aims to develop athletic talents/abilities as well as to nurture human
and social values of the pupils and the teachers, thus in its consensus agreed to
extend financial support in the amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos
(P 3,500.00) for this purpose to be charged to the Legislative Constituency
Support Program in the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, this City.

NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED, by the 1st Sangguniang Panlungsod, in its

58th Regular session assembled, to extend financial assistance
amounting P 3,500.00 to the North Cabadbaran District, DepEd, thru Arsenio T.
Cornites, Jr., District Supervisor, for the purchase of uniforms of the players who
will participate in the Division Sports Challenge to be held on November 14-15,
2008 at this City, chargeable against the Legislative Constituency Support
Program of the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to provide copies of this Resolution to the

City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; and the North
Cabadbaran District thu Arsenio T. Cornites, District Supervisor, all of this City, for
information and guidance.
