Verbs

(tell what people or things do, etc)

Explanation: A Verb is a word use to tell us what a person or things


dose or what a person or thing is. The Verb is the most important
word in a sentence. We cannot write or speak a sentence without
using the Verb.
Verbs of doing say what a person or something dose or is doing,
as shown below:

Verbs of being shown what a person or thing is or in what
condition the person or thing is, when we speak we use words, we use
this words in a set of groups. When a group of words make sense, we
call it a sentence.

Note: The verb “had”in the past tense are used for the first, second
and third persons.
Note: the Verb in the Third Person, singular Number usually takes
an”s” at the end.

Agreement
(number and person)
Explanation: A verb must agree with its subject is what we are
talking about. The subject is always a Noun or Pronoun. A singular
Noun or Pronoun must have a Singular verb. A Plural Noun or pronoun
must have a Plural verb.
(Notice how the Plural Verbs in the third person drop the “s”in the
example given below :

Explanation:A weak vebforms in Past Tense and Past participle by
adding,”-d”, “-ed”, or “-t”to the present tense ;or by not changing
(e. g) cut.

Explanation: A Strong verb is usually formed by changing the vowels
and not by adding ,”-d”, “-ed”, or “-t”. The Vowels are the letters
a, e, i, o, u.
