Ready. Set. Go!
When your hay is ready, and the forecast looks good, you want cutting done fast.
Well you are in luck, because John Deere Rotary Mower-Conditioners let you zip
through even tough cutting conditions.
The speed is yours for several reasons. Rotary discs, with a tip speed of 191 miles
per hour (307.4 kph), zip through crop. The rugged cutterbar, and easy-to-adjust
suspension system, lets you hug field contours, and move over rocks, and through
softer obstructions like ant hills or varmint mounds.
Speed also comes from fast maintenance and easy adjustments to the cutterbar
angle, the conditioning level, and windrow forming shields. No matter the crop
conditions, or the field obstructions, John Deere Rotary MoCos get you cutting fast.

New Developments
Speed Dry Down
Want to get the fastest dry down in heavy crops and
conditions? Consider going with V10 Steel Conditioning Rolls.
Proven on the larger 900 Series MoCos, these heavy-duty rolls
are now available on 600 and 800 Series machines. V10 rolls
improve conditioning and help keep crop flowing, especially
when cutting heavy thick-stemmed crops. There’s also a new
Wide Swath Kit that you can add to your 600 and 800 Series
MoCos. This kit helps create a windrow that is fluffier and up
to 25 percent wider — cutting down dry-down time and
reducing or eliminating the need to ted.

Triple Mounted Mower-Conditioner
Cut up to 40 acres. Each hour!
You might call it a windrower on steroids. Or call it the best way to utilize a high-
horsepower tractor during silage season. It’s the John Deere Triple Mounted Mower-
Conditioner. You start with a tractor with at least 190 horsepower and a front hitch
with PTO. Put a 131 Front Mounted MoCo upfront. Then add a 338 Twin Rear-Mounted
MoCo on the back. Suddenly your tractor is cutting up to 28 feet 8 inches (8.74 m) with
each pass. Rotary disc cutterbars mean you’ll cut fast and clean. And impeller
conditioning means fast crop flow, and fast dry down. Build three windrows, or follow
with a rake or merger to maximize forage harvester performance.

**Transport width is determined by the front cutting unit. The tractor tires have to be
within the width of the front mower.
***The transport length will be determined by the size of the tractor. Example, a 7280R
hasa transport length of 35 ft 3 in (10.8 m) while a 8360R has a transport length of
37 ft 11 in (11.6 m)

Disc Mowers
Fast cutting. No conditioning.
Don’t need your hay conditioned? Then zip through hay fields with a John Deere Rotary Disc
Mower. Choose from five models — 4 to 8 discs wide. All five give you fast, clean cutting
thanks to a low-profile cutterbar with discs that spin at 2986 rpm.
You are ready for a variety of field conditions. These mowers can cut +/- 35 degrees to
horizontal, so mowing ditches or sloping fields are no problem. Easy-to-adjust float springs
and protective skid shoes let the cutter float along ground contours and over rocks.
And the rugged discs and free swinging knives can rip through ant hills and gopher mounds.

Mower-Conditioners and Mowers Frontier
The Frontier Disc Mower Caddy allows tractors without a 3-point hitch, or with limited 3-point capacity, to operate a
rotary disc mower. Simply hook up the caddy to your tractor’s drawbar. Then attach the disc mower to the caddy’s
hitch system. You are ready to cut. The Frontier Caddy also simplifies hook up, important if your tractor needs to
power your mower, your rake, and your baler all in the same day.

Mower-Conditioners and Mowers Frontier
Frontier sicklebar mowers provide an economical cutting option for tractors with no cab and/or lower
horsepower. (Rotary disc mowers require a cab tractor.) These 3-point mowers use the proven cutting action
of a reciprocating sickle and are compatible with tractors between 25 and 50 horsepower. Choose from three
models that cut 6 ft. (1.83 m), 6 ft. 9 in. (2.06 m), and 7 ft. 9 in (2.36 m).
