To whom it may concern,

I am a senior at Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA, and I am majoring in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in history
and social sciences. After completing my undergraduate work, I plan on completing a masters program and earning my
teaching credential in elementary education. My career goals are to teach, then work in education administration and
educational policy.
Given my broad range of interests within the field of education, I have sought experiences to help me develop necessary
skills for my career goals. I have worked for two different teachers as a teaching assistant, to gain classroom experience
and further my understanding of the role of a teacher. I was an intern for The Center of The American Experiment where I
researched issues of educational policy.

Sincerely,
Lauren Antoni Hayward
