INSTRUCTION
(a) the figures should be stated
 (i) in the case of gem-stones, in carats;
 (ii) in the case of gold, silver and other precious metals, in grams;
 (iii) in the case of alum, amber, asbestos, beryl, graphite, jadestone, stealite, tinore,tungsten-ore, radio active
minerals and rare minerals, such as, molybdenite,monazite, pitch blande, samarskite, tantalite and triplite and
also in case of tin,in kilograms; and
 (iv) in the case of clay, limestone, magnesite, marble, phosphatic rock, salt and other stone, and all metalliferous
ores except those referred to above and also in case of other metals, in tonnes.

(b) if more then one mineral are raised or metals extracted, separate figures should be given for each one of
them.

(c) if the mineral is dressed, processed or treated before dispatch, the output of the dressed,processedor
treated mineral (instead of crude ore), as the case may be, should be given.

INSTRUCTION

(a) give day of the week and the date and month.
(b) the information shouldcover all persons employed in the mine as Defined in clause (h) of section 3 of the
mines act, 1952, including Clerical and subordinate supervisory staff.
(c) total number of man-days worked should be obtained by adding The daily attendance for the whole quarter.
(d) total number of man-days lost by absence should be obtained by adding the daily Attendance for the whole
quarter.
(e) absence should include all case in which a person is scheduled to work or is expected to Turn up for work
but dose not all permanent employees are to be treated as schedule to Turn up for work, but dose not. All
permanent employees are to be treated as schedule to Work. So far as temperary or casual employees are

INSTRUCTIONS

(a) the information should cover all persons employed as in table "c". Particulars relating to
Payment etc., to monthly paid staff should be included on a pro-rata basis.

(b) average daily attendance should be obtained by dividing the aggregate number of
