INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. All the entries in the application form except now allotted Regd. No. for 1st year should be filled by the
candidate in his / her own handwriting.
2. The application form duly filled in should be submitted to the Principal of the college where the candidate is
studying not later than the prescribed date.
3. The date of payment without penel fee and with penal fee are given in the press notification already issued.
Candidates may contact the Principals concerned in this regard. No application will be received by the
Principal of the College concerned after the expiry of the last date prescribed even though the fee is paid in
time.
4. The entries under Nos. 1 to 4 in the application should tally with those recorded in the certificate of the
qualifying examination such as SSLC, SSC, MATRICULATION, etc.
5. Application with incomplete and incorrect entries are liable to be rejected.
6. In submitting an application for registration to the public examinatin the candidate will be deemed to have
given an undertaking that he/she will abide by the rules now in force and that may be brought into effect
hereafter.
7. Candidates should pay the examination fee in cash to the Principal of the college concerned within the dates
prescribed.
8. No candidate studying in a college will be allowed to select a centre for his / her examination other than the
allotted for the other candidates of the college. However the Board reserves the right to allot a different centre
too without assigning any reason to any candidate.
9. There is a provision for (a) Recounting, (b) Supply of Photocopy and (c) Re-valuation of answer scripts from
IPE March 2002. candidates who desire for any of them, should make an application to the Secretary, BIE in
the prescribed application form available in all Govt. Jr. Colleges/RIO Offices, after paying the prescribed fee
paid in the form of D.D. within the time allotted for this purpose. Even the applications sent through Post must
reach the office before the prescribed last date. Otherwise they will be rejected even though the D.D is paid
within the time. It is the responsibility of the candidate to file the prescribed application within the prescribed
time and no Postal delay will be accepted. The marks awarded (whether increased or decreased on
Recounting/Revaluation/Photocopy is final).
10. The Board of Intermediate Education reserves the right to cancel the admission or the performance of the
candidate at any stage when it is detected that his / her admission to the college or the examination is against
the regulations.
11. Candidate should have their hall tickets ready with them for inspection by the Chief / Asst. Superintendent /
Departmental Officer of the Examination centre or any other officer authorised for this purpose at any time
during the examination.
12. Candidates should take their seats in the examination hall at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. No one
coming after an hour will not be admitted and no one shall leave the examination hall within the first half an
hour after the commencement of the examination.
13. Strict silence should be maintained in the examination hall.
14. The Board reserves the right to seize the Hall Ticket at any time before, during and after examination and the
candidate should surrender the same to the authorised Officer, when called for.
15. If there is any discrepancy in the Memo/Pass Certificate, the discrepancy should be got corrected within FOUR
WEEKS from the date of publication of results, through the Principal of the College from where he / she
registered.
