i) Firstly,record the serial numbers for o/c IDMT type o/c Earth fault relay. 1

ii) Next, record the relay type and relay raiting . 3

iii) After that, record the site,bays and circuit required.

iv) then, insert the correct setting to the relays.

v) once the setting is correct, inject the relay according to drawing from the terminal block.

vi) Finally, inject the time of operations and record the values.

1 .As a colculasion from this expriment,by using EME4 electrical distribution trainer, the
the student can identify the basic compenent such as o/c IDT type, o/c IDMT type, 1
o/c & Earth fault relay, current transformers,Voltage transformers,MCB,MCCB, 2
isolator,bus tie and ELCB. 3
2 .Also, student knows how to demostrate basic concept of protections system by using
over current IDMT relay.
