PROCEDURE

WATER QUALITY METER

1. The POWER key was pressed and hold down for 3 seconds to turn the device.

2. Each sensor and sensor guard was checked whether it is mounted or not.

3. “SINGLE MEASUREMENT” has been selected in the measurement screen was

checked.

4. The sensor probe was submerged in the sample and the sensor was shaken
slowly in the sample to remove any air bubbles.

5. If the sample is non-flowing, move the cable slowly up and down at a rate of
roughly 20 to 30cm to ensure that fresh sample is continuously supplied to the
sensor.

6. The MEAS key was pressed for 5 second when the measurement values are
stable.

7. The ENTER key was pressed to save the held measurement values.

8. To cancel the operation, the ESC key was pressed.

AIR QUALITY MONITOR

1. The equipment was placed on a stable surface before using the equipment.

2. The ON button was pressed for few second to turn on the device and the time
was set for 10 minutes by using stopwatch.

3. After 10 minutes, the MODE button was pressed.

4. In the selections within the mode, the SELECT button was pressed to view the
history data.

5. The data will show the result for an intervals one minute and the data was
recorded.

6. After recorded the data, MODE button was pressed once again and SELECT
button was pressed to clear the history in the selection within the mode.

NOISE METER

1. ON button was pressed for few second to turn on the device.

2. The meter will begin displaying the sound level readings.

3. Hold the device away from the body and the data was recorded for every one
minute.
