This is the layout of my future classroom.

Since it is a science class, the floors will be tiles and

the desk are made of durable material. In the bottom of the class, there is a trash can right next to

the entrance, so the students can throw away any garbage that they walk in with. Next to that is a

bulletin board that would house material that may have been missed by absent students and other

announcements for the class/ school that are important. Next to that board is a smart board with a

white board next to it. This will serve as a way to project things on the smart board and write

side notes on the white board, so we don’t have to write over what is on the smart board. There is

another trash can next to the teacher’s desk to finish the bottom of the class room. In the middle
of the class are desks that they will sit in with their science partners and to the left is another

bulletin board the students will use to post their exit tickets. In the back right one table is an eye

wash/safety shower. The other table is a table that will hold pencils, tape, scissors, staplers and

other material the students may need. Through the top door is a supply room for all the necessary

supplies for labs. The last thing is a big book shelf that will hold their text books, lab notebooks,

small white boards and laptops for the students to use. On the right wall there will be 4 large

windows to let in natural light for the students benefit (and mine). This layout gives ample room

to let the students reach supplies easily and for me as an instructor to get close to the students

and observe how they are learning. The walls will be a calming shade of green and blue while

having the periodic table of the element (big) on the left wall.
