a) Analyze The Lyrics :- It's parking lot. I Am Positive About That His Whole Family Was Living In
That Paradise And Was Evicted Out In A Yellow Taxi Cab Which Is Now A Parking Lot
It's definitely about how we take not only people, but everything for granted. Even simple things
like trees. We need to stop paving the world with parking lots before we have to go to a
museum to see trees...
b) What Message Is Being Conveyed?

The message which is being conveyed is that trees aren’t supposed to be cut down but actually
allowed to live and when trees die we shouldn’t see them in a museum. When the singer is
talking about his girl I think he is in a reference to a Chinese American Citizen being kidnapped in
2009 the same year the song was originally release, so in a sense the singer is also talking about
how kidnapping should be stopped and measures should be taken against this.

c) What are some of the figurative techniques being used in the song

The techniques being used are very tricky to encode as you don’t really understand the actual
lyrics of the song until you listen to it 3 to 4 times continuously. The lyrics being used are like
hard tricky and fun all at the same time. Like the singer used girl a lot but we don’t know which
girl until we identify it after listening to it many times.

dramatic effect on explanatory style and perception. Music is an essential part in keeping ourselves calm
and ready for whats to come as if we don’t have music then people who face stress issues then cant relax.
Scientific Research has proven that children who read books or studies while listening to music then they
will have a 5% better chance to succeed.
