STORY
The story of the game begins when the history teacher asks the students to
get ready for an exam the following day that will make up 50% of their final grade.
Juan, a student, struggles to study for his history exam the next day. He falls asleep
in the midst of his study and finds himself in the olden days of Philippines. He
stumbles upon Epifianio, a historian, which he asks help from. Juan’s mission is to
complete the three stages by knowing and learning about the history of the
Philippines and acquire knowledge for him to past his exam the next day before he
wakes up. The first stage will be about the historical places in the Philippines. The
questions will be about scrambled words about the famous historical places. The
second stage will be about significant Filipinos like artists, heroes and presidents.
The third stage will be about the history of Philippine Peso. The player will be asked
to what is the equivalent of the Philippine Peso displayed in each question.
Stage 1 will be displayed as the map of Luzon, Stage 2 will be displayed as
the map of Visayas, and Stage 3 as Mindanao as the representation of the three
game types. If Juan finishes Stage 1, then Stage 2 will be unlocked, and so forth
until Juan finishes all stages, it will show a scene of Juan being rewarded by Epifanio
and waking up from his sleep and passing the exam which will be the end of the
game. The player will have Juan as a default avatar wearing uniform to represent the
student character in the game.
GAME TYPES
STAGE 1: Luzon, will consist of the easy questions of the 3 game types.10

Game 1: LakbayAral
There will be ten questions for the player to answer which is about different
scrambled words about Philippine’s historical places. The questions will be displayed
in random order after the player selects the stage. After the player answers all ten
questions the player can now move on to the second stage. If the player did not
answer the question it will give another chance to try answering the question again,
for a total of three lives, after losing lives it will show “GAME OVER”
Easy(3questions): will provide images and facts to help the player with the
questions
Medium(4questions):will only provide images
Hard(3questions): will only provide facts

Game 2: Guess That Filipino
The following trivia questions that the player needs to answer is about significant
Filipinos. Regardless the player answers the question or not, it will show fun facts
about the answer to the question.
What make the game different from the game reference, discuss it and enumerate
the major features of the purpose game.
Reference Game: Trivia Crack
- Trivia Crack gives out random trivia about anything in the whole world,
while in Juan Time it only gives out trivia about the Philippines.
- in the game reference Trivia is the main part/idea of the game, while on
Juan Time on the other hand it’s more like a bonus round.

There will be ten question that will be about Philippine Peso. The questions will be
displayed in random order after the player selects the stage. The game will have a
timer for every question, after the timer runs out. The questions will be shown at the
upper middle of the screen together with the Philippine Peso that will let the player
count the equivalent of the money that will be displayed at the middle of the screen
- Money Game is an counting game where you solve the total of the money
shown..
- Juan Time has a similar concept from the Money Game the only
difference is that Juan will solve using problems using the Philippines’
currency.
Unlike Money Game, Juan Time, after the first 5 levels, the levels would get harder
by adding words instead of just letters.
