In this lesson plan I am working on linking the actives to the outcome .

Students will focus how to Compare and Order decimals.

Teacher will write number 3.45 and ask to show me the ones, Tenths

example12,26,9,13. than students order it in their whit boards and show it to
the teacher.

In the modeling, teacher will say today we going to leaner very easy lesson is about

Teacher will tell them story and from the story they will find the decimals and
compart.

One way use the number line. Techer will draw number line and write
0,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.5,0.6 and make a arrow from right side and say when we go right
side the number becomes big so the 0.4 is to the right of 0.2 .so the 0.4 is bigger
than 0.2

Other way to find which is bigger, to use place value. First, we will see the ones if is
zero we will see the tenths, in tenths we have 2 and 4 which is bigger students will
say 4. so, the 0.4 is bigger than 0.2.

Than teacher will show them a video about how to Compare and Order decimals.
Than they will begin the actives.

Activity one: Decimal card
In this center there will be, activity card and questions cards and counters.
students will work in pairs. Teacher will explain the activity. Students have to
choose different cards. And compere between two dismals. First, we will see
the ones if is zero than see the tenths and see which the bigger and but the sing
on it.

Activity two: train


In this center there will be, decimals in train box. students will work in pairs.
Teacher will explain the activity. Students have to order the decimals and
make a train, then in the write the title in the top. for example, teacher will
give decimals 0.2 ,0.6 ,0.1 students have to order the dismals 0.1 ,0.2 then 0.6
and make the train.

Differentiation activities (Stretch)

All activities are differentiated.

Teacher will recap the outcome with the students and check for
understanding. Each student must complete an exit ticket to show their
understanding
