UNIT 11 : NATIONAL PARKS


PART B : LANGUAGE FOCUS

I.Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- distinguish the words /t/ and /d/
- pronounce the words containing the sounds /t/ and /d/ correctly
- understand the form how to use conditional sentence type 3
II.Method : intergrated, mainly communicative.
III. Teaching aids:
English textbook 10, chalk, board,computer, projector, hand-out.
IV. Procedures :
1.Organization : (1’) Greeting the class & check students’ attendance

I. Warm-up (2’)
- Show 4 pictures including the words - Look at the pictures
containing the sounds /t/ and /d/
/t/ : table, cat
/d/ : duck, cold
- Ask students to read the words - The whole class read the words
- Lead to the pronounciation part - Listen to the teacher
“Can you guess what sounds are you
going to learn today?We will learn
about 2 sounds /t/ and /d”

II. Pronounciation (7’)


- Write the sounds /t/ and /d/ on the - Look at the board

touches at the back of the upper teeth
=> pull the tongue down and make the

“In this task, you have to complete the
sentences by using the correct form of
the verbs in the brackets to fill in the
blank. Now, I will give an example, look

main clause, we have to fill in “would
+ have + past participle”.
