1. The Client
The client is an NGO involved in children and youth related welfare activities, so they wish to
manage their activities and programs.
The client required a system which enables administrator to create different agencies and their
administrator using web admin site. Agency administrator can create user logins its
administrator. It also provides mechanism for data sharing across different agencies. The client
also required a report designer functionality to allow the users to generate reports
based on their requirements.
As per the government rules and it highly influences on this domain, security is the prime
concern of the application.
2. The Project
CYSIS is a centralized web application to manage Agencies and their Clients, Family, Services
and Events.
Here Agency is an individual unit or an office providing welfare services to the clients. The system
provides Agency wise isolated data store.
The system is equipped with Form designer and Report designer functionalities to meet
Agency specific custom needs. The system provides consolidated information over
distributed databases.
There are two modules in the system:
• Web administration: The system enables main administrator to create different agencies and
their administrator using web admin site. Agency administrator creates user logins and sub
agencies and its administrator.
• Web site related to core business activities: The application used by the agencies. It provides
core functionalities to deal with clients and services.

• Microsoft .Net Remote Enterprise Business Solution: Physically Separate Application, Business
Logic and Database layers. Application and Business layers are communicating through the
authenticated web service call.
• Separate database for each agency.
• Security token verification for each BO layer call.
• Usage of MS-SQL 2005 built in data encryption feature.
• Data sharing between agencies.
• Custom form which allows user creating pages run time as per the need.
• Integrated security mail system.
• LogiXML ad hoc reporting tool integration.

Report Designer Screen: using this screen, various kinds of reports will be designed.This includes the option to add various kinds of
graphs/charts, custom header/footer, font colors.
