serviced (systems, subsystems, articles) in the helicopter, the list and intervals of the operations to be
performed on them.
The qualitative performance of the maintenance operations in due time ensures the specified level of
the helicopter reliability and its readiness for flight.
2. The Maintenance Schedule provides for performance of the following types of maintenance on the
helicopter:
line maintenance;
periodic maintenance;
special maintenance;
in-storage maintenance;
seasonal maintenance.
3. The line maintenance includes auxiliary operations and inspection and maintenance operations.

in case of transfer of the helicopter to another parking area.
7. The operations to ensure departure (DO) of the helicopter are to be performed just before each
departure of the helicopter irrespective of the type of the executed line maintenance check.
8. The helicopter inspection and maintenance operations include checks A1, A2, OB1, Б.
after the helicopter landing at the inflight time of 45 min and more and provided a more complicated
maintenance check is not required;
during the next refuelling of the helicopter if the interval between landings is less than 45 min;
upon termination of flights at a daily flying time of 7 h and more provided performance of periodic
maintenance operations is not required.
NOTE. If the daily flying time is less than 7 h, the helicopter maintenance A2 check is performed once
every adjacent 24 hours during which even though one flight has been performed;
after special maintenance operations (in compliance with the direction of Section 5 of the present
Maintenance Schedule);
11. The helicopter maintenance OB1 check is made in providing the first departure:
if the parking duration after carrying the line maintenance operations is 12 h and more;
irrespective of the time of the previous parking if the maintenance A1 check has been carried out upon
termination of the flights the day before;
after (25±5) flight hours if no periodic maintenance is required with respect to operating hours.
13. When landing on pads, where there is no engineering personnel, the line maintenance is performed by
the crew in the scope of the Flight Manual requirements.
14. The periodic maintenance is assigned according to the helicopter airframe total flight hours since
placed in service or after the last overhaul and composed of the operations dictated by the basic form
Ф-1 carried out every (50±10) flight hours and additional operations ∆Ф = 2, 3, 4 and 5 the necessity
of performance of which is determined by the helicopter operating time every 100, 300, 500, 1000
flight hours, respectively, regardless of limits of the previously performed periodic maintenance.

15. The unified time limit equal to ±10 flight hours is established for all periodic maintenance operations.
In case of step-by-step method of the maintenance, it is allowed to increase the time limit up to ±20
flight hours for the operations with intervals of 100 h and more.
16. For engines, accessories and instruments the maintenance is assigned according to the flight hours of
the helicopter airframe. In case of replacement of the engine (engines) or other completing items on
completion of the service life or ahead of the schedule, the helicopter is subjected to a maintenance
required according to the airframe flight hours, and additional operations:
associated directly with the replacement of the engine (engines) or completing items;
related to the inspection of the helicopter airframe structural members and sections of the service lines
of the systems that can be accessed only with the engine or the completing item removed.
Subsequent maintenance operations on the engine (engines) and other completing items are performed
by maintenance checks corresponding to the airframe operating time.
17. To ensure trouble-free operation of the helicopter under various environmental conditions, under the
conditions of intensive operation, when performing special missions, as well as in case of long lay-
offs, the senior engineer has the right to give a direction to carry out some additional operations or
out-of-order execution of a periodic maintenance check.
18. The in-storage maintenance of the helicopter is performed during temporary lay-offs and consists of:
helicopter maintenance operations carried out every (30±5) days, 3 months plus/minus ten days, (6±1)
months;
after rough landing of the helicopter, flight in turbulent air (with excess of permissible operational g-
loads), after lightning stroke, after being exposed to a hail or other stormy conditions on the ground,
after flying through the zone of icing and resonant phenomena;
after replacement of engines, main gearbox, hubs of the main and tail rotors.
20. The seasonal maintenance operations are to be performed when preparing the helicopter for autumn-
winter (AWP) and spring-summer (SSP) periods of service.
21. All the operations envisaged by the Maintenance Schedule are to be carried out in compliance with
the Task Cards included in the Maintenance Manual of the helicopter, as well as in compliance with
the maintenance practices and storage rules included in the Maintenance Manuals for the completing
items.
All the revisions and amendments should be entered in the Maintenance Schedule in time in
compliance with the MGA regulations and bulletins of the Ministry of Aviation Industry validated by
the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
