Chapter 1
Introduction and Background of the Study
Manpower recruitment agency is any commercial concern engaged in providing
recruitment services directly or indirectly to a client. In short, manpower consultant has two
customers: Client and Candidate. Corporate gets in touch with the Manpower Recruitment
Consultants to know about their charges. After that negotiation on charges is done, after which
both parties sign a mutual agreement with some Terms and Conditions on which they are going
to work. Then the organization shares the Job Description of the requirement which includes
skills and experience required in a person. After this, team of recruiters starts working on the
particular requirement sent by corporate. After selecting candidate, Manpower consultants
forward the profile of the interested candidates to the organization and schedule the interview
according to the clients and candidates availability.
A management system is a set of policies, processes and procedures used by an
organization to ensure that it can fulfill the tasks required to achieve its objectives. These
objectives cover many aspects of the organization's operations (including financial success, safe
operation, product quality, client relationships, legislative and regulatory conformance and
worker management). For instance, an environmental management system enables organizations
to improve their environmental performance and an occupational health and safety management
system (OHSMS) enables an organization to control its occupational health and safety risks, etc.
Manpower Recruitment Agencies do a lot of data and information management without
the proper management they will face data/information loss, more time in managing
data/information, more budget in managing data/information.
The person willing to apply must walk in to the agency to look for the job offers and to
submit a resume in a agency.
Nowadays people look for what they need or want online your agency must be present
online.
The Job Connections Manpower Agency is a landbased staffing and recruitment firm was
established in december 2006. It aims to serve clients in a flexible, personal and ethical manner
while striving to achieve the most cost-effective solution: an organization driven with
resourcefulness, aggressiveness and professionalism.
As a Labor Exporter, we select only those physically & mentally fit and competent staff.
Extensive orientations are carried on for their benefit and travel papers are documented and
finally deployed to their work site overseas. However, our services do not end at that point; we
continuously assume full responsibility from then on until the completion of their contracts.
As a Service Contractor/Placement Agency, is in full measure prepared to uphold onto
the realization of clients’ resolute-the probe for the most qualified and effective skill and talents
in our workforce.
The company has an extensive pooling of manpower reserve from which Human
Resource requirements could be steadi-ly drawn to meet the demands of its client companies,
coupled with the fact that it is being managed by newly businessmen, consultants and operates
under dynamic system being handled by the young and effective professionals.
Objectives of the Project
General Objective
The proposed study will help the Manpower Recruitment Agencies to advertise their
agency and to manage,accept data and information online, time-saving, organize, less budget and
safe.
The main goal of this project to help the Agencies to manage their data and information
easily and organize as well as keeping data and information safe.
The gathered data and information will be organize as the user input and easily retrieve,
edit and view and they can also print it out and make a report out of it.
Website and System are the result of this project and our target clients is a recruitment
agencies.
Specific Objectives

 To design a system that will manage data and information as the user input.
 To develop a website that will advertise the Client’s Agency.
 To design a system that will show reports to the user.
 To test and evaluate the acceptability of the system in terms of functionality, reliability,
usability and so on by gathering feedback from prospective users and technical experts.
Scope and Limitation
Scope
The Study will cover the process of data/information and organizing
data/information with their respective category in online server/database.All data can be
back up anytime. If a client wants a changes or updates in a website it is acceptable.
Bugs encounter, updates and changes in website and system will be handle by
researchers.
Limitation
The study will not cover the problem of web hosting company if incident happen
in their server.
Chapter II

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE / SYSTEMS AND STUDIES


This chapter represented the review of existing systems, review of related systems and related
literature and studies of both foreign and local underlying the context of the study.

Review of Existing Systems

The recruitment officer conducts the pre – screening of candidates. Only those who are
qualified will be endorsed to the employer by the Project Coordinators/HR for final
interview and approval. In coordination with the representative to the Philippines of our
principal, we will solicit their participation in the final interview. If this is not possible
physically, we will send all qualified applicants their resume and communicate with the
principal through email and telephone for final approval

SOURCING OF MANPOWER SUPPLY


Based from the job orders from our principal’s, we initiate pooling names of qualified
candidates through our computerized data bank. We also pool needed workforce
through channels, i.e. print and TV ads, website/ Facebook Fan Page online applicants,
job fairs, referrals and through agents. Should there be an insufficient amount of
applicants, we will further conduct authorized. Special Recruitment Activity in the
provinces in order to gather and ensure that we have sufficient candidates for each
category.
Other possible sources of manpower supply:
• Walk – in applications
• Distribution of flyers
• Word of mouth advertisement from other applicants
Review of Related System

The Sim-soh International Services uses a wordpress to design their website with animation
same as The Job Connections website. The Job Connection website is a product of HTML, CSS
and Bootstrap 4.2. The Simsoh Internation Services have a system the “Send a resume” feature
in which applicant may send a resume online and will be receive by the Simsoh’s Email.
The LMB Worldwide Services have a very simple website which is also a
product of HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. The LMB Worldwide Services have
a management system
 Ensures that the clients/ principal requirements are fully understood and meet
the job specification.
 Conducts pre-screening and employment background checking.
 Verifies the authenticity of the documents submitted.
 Requires training, trade or actual testing, if necessary.
 Continuous monitoring of the workflow and improvements of its services is set
and maintained by establishing a periodic performance, support and adequate
review of the quality system to identify potential problems, introduce preventive
measures and corrective actions, as a basis for continuous improvement

Review of Related Literature
According to update report of the status of the travel papers of the workers shall be transmitted to
the Employer regularly. Flight details/tickets shall be furnished 5 to 7 days prior or before the
departure to ensure that the documents of the workers are ready as well as the preparation of the
employer for the arriving staffs.

Foreign Literature
We provide the selected applicants assistance in securing the travel documents required by the
Labor Office and the Embassy, like, Trade Test/ NCII Trainings, Authenticated Credentials,
Passport, Medical Certificate, Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) issued by POEA and
Exit Pass. This will also include the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) wherein the
workers will undergo a comprehensive briefing on the working & living condition, customs and
traditions, laws and regulations in the country of destination.
CHAPTER III

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY


This chapter discusses the software process model used in the project and the data
flow diagram of the system.

Software Process Model

A landbased staffing and recruitment firm was established in december 2006. It


aims to serve clients in a flexible, personal and ethical manner while striving to
achieve the most cost-effective solution: an organization driven with
resourcefulness, aggressiveness and professionalism.

The company has an extensive pooling of manpower reserve from which Human
Resource requirements could be steadi-ly drawn to meet the demands of its
client companies, coupled with the fact that it is being managed by newly
businessmen, consultants and operates under dynamic system being handled by
the young and effective professionals.

papers are documented and finally deployed to their work site overseas.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
In this chapter, the features and function of the system with actual screenshots of
the portal were discussed.

Systems Overview

The Jobconnections International Manpower Service site is an online


recruitment system that showcases and appllied through online. They are
Jobconnections their posting the offered jobs via website of in The website
consists of as shown in below. these are Home, About Us, The Recruitment
Process, Service Offered, Send Resume/Application and the Contact Us.
Systems Functions and Procedures
Online Website for recruitment of work in applicant is an

online portal that provides online reservation of jobs and tour the

clients of the Job Connections. These are the Home Office,

Destinations and Inquire Jobs, About Us the company is giving

hope and great opportunity and the Log-in which is hidden and it

can be access only by the owner & the travel agent employee.etc.

introduce the process and history of their recruitment system.

The existing system of The Job Connections is a website with a “Send a


resume” feature. The received resume will be send to the email of job connections.
The researcher want to upgrade both website and system that can do management
of information/data and make a reports out of it.
Chapter V
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS

In this chapter, the summary of findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the study is

presented.

Summary of Findings

1. The researchers were able to develop the portal to automate the online system that will help JOB

CONNECTIONS increase their potential clients.

2. The portal was developed based on the best practices gathered from related websites. These

practices helped the researchers to come up with a wireframe and a site map that was used as a

guide for the design of the portal.

3. The owner approved to implement the portal and agreed that it will be of great use to cater the
needs for the clients of JOB CONNECTIONS.

Conclusions

1. The researchers designed a portal for Job Connections that contains the following
features; Online Application for all the bookings, in travel destination and for recruitment
services.

2. The portal was developed to alllow the clients know the associations affiliated with
JOBCONNECTIONS to help them for their employment.

3. IT professionals, clients, and admins of JOBCONNECTIONS was able to the test and
evaluate the portals to gain feedbacks and suggestions for the improvement of the
website.
