Metro rail projects provide mass transportation at affordable fares, as well as decongesting vehicular traffic. With the inauguration of the
Escorts Mujesar-Ballabhgarh section, the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro is now 46.6 km in length and the total length of the Delhi Metro
network now stands at 317 km.
We would like for it to be informative, we also strongly believe that it should also provide an opportunity for business development to all our

The projected year for Delhi metro
Phase-4 commissioning is 2025. This
six proposed corridors of Delhi
Metro’s Phase-4 is expected to carry
over 10 lakh passengers per day, while
the commuting fares will range
between Rs 20 and Rs 100. The
proposed length of the six corridors
is 104 km. The DPR has set the
deadline of Phase IV completion as
December 31, 2024, and expected
date of commissioning as January
1, 2025.
The proposed Rithala-Narela (21.73
km), Tughlakabad-Aerocity (20.20
km) and Inderlok-Indraprastha (12.58
km) corridors, which were declared
unviable by the Delhi Finance
Department, will carry 1.29 lakh, 1.66
lakh and 2.07 lakh commuters per day
in 2025, the report states.
According to DMRC estimates, the
other three corridors — Lajpat Nagar
to Saket G Block (8 km), Janakpuri
West to RK Ashram (28.9 km) and Mukundpur to
Maujpur (12.55 km) — will register a daily average
ridership of 70,000, 3.29 lakh and 1.14 lakh in 2025.
Visakhapatnam Metro Rail DPR

The AP cabinet has decided to go ahead with the
Metro Rail in Visakhapatnam, a long-pending
proposal, under the public-private partnership (PPP).
The three-corridor Vizag Metro would be built over a
stretch of 42.55 km at a cost of Rs 8,300 crore.
A recent cabinet meeting in the state has witnessed

with the much-awaited project under the Public-
Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The Maharashtra government is in an effort to reduce

working on the Hyperloop project. If the Hyperloop
project kicks off, the journey time between the two
metro cities will be reduced to 17 to 25 minutes. The
government of Maharashtra has given it the status of
Public Infrastructure Project. Private players will be
able to participate in setting up this ambitious project.
The estimated cost would be Rs 20,000 crore.
