My Absolute Favorites

Growing up I had four teachers that are my absolute favorite and they were amazing at

their jobs. If I had to choose which one was my favorites I would probably have a hard time, but

if I had to choose I would probably choose all four of my teachers. I say that because each and

every one of them influenced me in their own special kind of way. Even though two of my

teachers currently teach at a middle and the other two teach at my high school, all their teaching

has made me into the person I am today. My teachers all have pushed and encouraged me to

graduate high school but even though I don’t see my middle school teachers on a day to day

basis like I did in middle school we still keep in contact with each til’ this day so that I could

receive those words of encouragement. These four teachers will forever have a place in my heart

and will always be my favorite teachers because they helped me out of my shyness, they helped

me with my school life and my personal life, and they have helped me become the college

student that I am today.

When I went into elementary school I was one of the shyest students in my class and all

that shyness carried on to middle school where I didn’t know anybody, and nobody knew me. In

middle school it’s always hard to make new friends. I was on something called IEP and other

students and I had a separate class where we could get together and work as a group. We had two

teachers Ms. Nash and Ms. Goff and they had all of us to go around the room to different people

to have a conversations with one another and get to know each other. And eventually my

classmates and I got used to being around each other because it was only really six of us in one

room every single school day and seeing the same people every day, we had no choice but to

become friends. Even though my classmates and I are all went separate ways still are in contact

with each other through having each other's numbers and through social media.

I went through a lot in middle school like passing's in my family and my teachers helped

me get through all the situation I went through in my life and my school life as well. At the time

there were two passing's in my family that I was extreme close to and they were a about year

part. I would be at school finding stuff like this out and going to school all I could think about

was my great uncle and my cousin and them not being my life. Finding out about both passing's

at school I would go into my favorite teachers’ classroom to ball my eyes out or I would go out

to the hallway so that I wouldn’t break down crying in front of the whole class and to not cause

attention to myself I just left the room. My teachers Ms. Nash and Ms. Goff would comfort me

like I was one of their own children until my mother and aunt came to get me from school and

took me home. Now school on the other hand was going great I was acing every class I had, even

though I almost didn’t pass I had to push myself. Leaving middle school having so much support

behind me and my high school career, made me more confident in high school.

Going into high school I was scared because when I was going into elementary school

and middle school I had my two cousins Arville and Anthony going to school with and leaving

school with every single day. So, I always had them at my side until we off to separate high

schools. Going in as a freshman in high school I didn’t know what to expect like every freshman

in high school. I went in thinking that it was going to be like the high school movies with bullies

or rude teachers, but my counselor been there for me for four years and haven’t slacked not once.

If I had problems with my classes and needed help with your classwork or a project for a class,

she would be the one to go to for that. Or if you just need someone to talk to and let some anger

out she is always the one to go talk to about situations, it doesn’t matter what kind of situation it

is. She gets to know you as a student and makes a connect with you and all her other 200

students that she has to take care of, some counselors don’t even take the effort to get to know

you. They will bring you into their office, fix the problem, and tell you to go to the class you

came. But not my counselor she is by far the most understanding and supporting counselor that I

have ever had in grade school.

When I was younger I had four teachers that were my absolute favorite and they did an

amazing job at their jobs. My teachers have pushed and encouraged me throughout middle

school and high school and after high school. Each and every one of them have influenced me in

their own special ways. My favorites teachers will always have special place in my heart for all

the hard work they put in my education. They helped me out of my shyness, my school life and

my personal life, and they have helped me become the college student that I am today.
