I am writing you because I am interested in applying for your open prep cook position as
posted on Monster.com. I’m currently a freshman at Arizona State Polytechnic working towards
getting my bachelors degree in psychology. My work ethic and skills make a good match for
Chilis. I have completed two years of culinary and received a certificate and I am also ServSafe
certified which would make a great candidate for your open position.
I believe I can be a great addition to your crew. I embrace the grind and I am a great team
leader and contributed fully in getting my high school wrestling team a state title by myself
winning individually, which is one reason why I want to apply to your company. In addition,
while I was in college I have learned a wide variety of technology skills that allowed me to
improve upon my creative skills and my quick work ethic. I even created my own website. These
have given me the ability to problem solve in variety of ways and make quick fixes to any
problems within the matter of seconds.
I am looking forward to having an interview with you for the prep cook position. I am
