 Designed lesson plans and taught full time in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies for
the Kindergarten classroom.
 Obtained training in ClearTouch technology, MaxScholars, and the usage of SmartNotes
through the school district.
 Obtained experience in working with an EIP specialist teacher for the ELA station period.

 Designed pre- and post-assessments for the ELA and Science unit in order to collect data
on students’ prior knowledge and to assist in preparing a lesson plan that involves
students’ growth.
 Created and implemented a four-day ELA unit on asking and answering Question-
Answer relationships (QARs) questions. “Right there” and “Think and Search” questions
included modeling and scaffolding techniques to support students at varying levels.
 Created and implemented a four-day Science unit on the basic needs of a plant. The unit
integrated reading and writing to boost the students’ engagement.

during math stations to enhance engagement of kinesthetic and visual learners.
 Created and implemented a four-day Social Studies unit on describing the work that
people do such as: police officers and fire fighters. This unit was combined with music,
art, and social studies content to increase learning in an astonishing way.
 Created a Reading Diagnostic Kit for grade k-5th to assist students who struggles. Such as
ELL, students with an IEP, and students who are not strongly challenged.
