Design
The flow sensor is screwed to a universal plate. The electrical connections are inside a plastic housing. The electrical connection is made via
safety sockets. The component is fitted onto the slotted profile plate using the locking system with the blue lever (fitting version "A"). The
component can be moved in the direction of the slot.

Function
The flow sensor is used to measure and monitor flow rate values. Measurement is carried out by means of a thermal procedure, whereby the
amount of heat drawn from a heated surface of the sensor by the medium flowing past it is calculated. The flow rate is determined based on
the amount of heat drawn.
The mass flow measured by the flow sensor is independent of temperature and pressure. The measured value is output via a voltage output
and two configurable switching outputs. The flow rate shown on the display is converted to the standard conditions 0 °C and 1013 mbar. The
flow rate is shown in l/min.

The maximum permissible operating pressure for the flow sensor is 2 bar (200 kPa).

Note
The direction of flow indicated on the housing must be observed when connecting to the compressed air network.
