How to activate your product (license protection).

When you open one of the course’s files, the special pop-up window
appears. It asks you to indicate your license code.

You should write your license code and press the button “Unlock Now”.
Wait a few seconds and the file will be opened.

THE NOTES:
o Once you entered your license code, you don’t need to do
anything else after that. Just study the course as usual. Internet
connection is necessary ONLY when you run the course for the 1st
time.
o 1 license code unlocks the course on 1 computer.
o You got 2 license codes while purchasing the product. They were
sent to your e-mail. If you can’t find those e-mails – check your
spam folder also.
o If you want to study the course using more than 2 different
computers – then, please, contact me and I’ll provide 2 more codes
for you.
o You may use the course on 4 different computers totally. If you
want to use more computers, you will have to pay for the product
again.
o Keep your license codes in safety. Don’t let other people know
them.

If this does not help – then try the following methods:

THE 1st WAY

 Download and install SWF Opener program:
http://chess-teacher.com/materials/swfopener.exe
 Try to open a video lesson. If it doesn’t work, then go to the 2nd way.

THE 2nd WAY

 Download and install Gom player program:
http://www.gomlab.com/eng/GMP_download.html
 Try to open a video lesson. If it doesn’t work, then go to the 3rd way.

THE 3rd WAY

 Download and install KMPlayer program:
http://chess-teacher.com/materials/kmp.exe
 Try to open a video lesson. If it doesn’t work, then go to the 4th way.

THE 4th WAY

 Download and install VLC player program:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
 Try to open a video lesson.

How to print a text file (in *.PDF format).

THE 1st WAY

1) Open this text file.
2) Press the buttons “Ctrl” and “P” (on your keyboard) simultaneously
while reading the document. This calls your printer.
3) Choose the preferable parameters and click “OK”.

THE 2nd WAY

1) Open this text file.
2) Make right-button mouse click anywhere in the document. The
drop-down menu will appear.
3) Choose an option “Print” from this menu.

Chess games from the Practical part don’t run.

Download and install pgn viewer program (“Compochess”):

 IMPORTANT: Choose an option “Open ‘pgn’ files by using this

program” during the installation.

 You can print any chess game using this program. Just click the
printer icon (of course you need to open a game first).

Graphical menu does not work.

Normally you need to open the file “autorun” and follow its
instructions. If this graphical menu doesn’t work, you can open every
file manually. Here are the detailed instructions.

1) Install the programs from the folder “Programs”.

 “Video_player” program is used for watching video lessons.
 “Pgn_viewer” program is used for opening chess database files in
*.pgn format (you will find them in the “Practical part” of the
course).

The note: if you have any other programs for opening the video files in
*.swf format and chess database files in *.pgn format – you may use
them as well.

2) Study the chess course.

 First, study the video lessons from the folder “1) Video course”.
 Secondly, study the Practical part from the folder “2) Practical part
(academy)”.
