None of these ingredients are derived from humans, animals or pathogenic bacteria. Based on the concentrations
present, none of the ingredients are hazardous as defined in the Hazard Communication Standard. An MSDS is not
required for these products: none of the preparations contain dangerous substances (as per directive 67/548/EEC &
amendments) at concentrations requiring distribution of MSDS (as per directives 1999/45/EEC, 2001/58/EEC). A
statement ‘MSDS not required’ is available on our website (www.mlpa.com).

Storage and stability: All components of the SALSA® MLPA® reagent kit must be stored directly upon
arrival at -15 °C to -25 °C in the dark and in the original package. When stored under the recommended
conditions, a shelf life of at least 1 year is guaranteed. Check the vial label on each individual reagent for the
expiry date. Reagents should not be exposed to more than 25 freeze-thaw cycles.

Materials required but not provided: 1) SALSA MLPA Probemix, the corresponding Product Description,
and the (MS-)MLPA General Protocol. A complete overview of all SALSA MLPA probemixes offered by MRC-
Holland is available on our website (www.mlpa.com). 2) Laboratory equipment, as specified in the (MS-)
MLPA General protocol, is needed to perform the MLPA reaction. 3) Coffalyser.Net software in combination
with the appropriate lot-specific MLPA Coffalyser sheet must be used for data analysis, freely downloadable
at www.mlpa.com.
