Activating Fiori Applications

Steps to activate Fiori application

1. Go to Fiori app library

(https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/)

2. Click on Fiori Apps for S4 HANA and select product by version.

4. Select app which need to be activated.

5. Check Front end and back end components of apps.

The app consists of front-end components (such as the user interfaces) and back-end
components (such as the OData service). The back-end and front-end components are
delivered with separate products and have to be installed in a system landscape that is
enabled for SAP Fiori.

What is Front end?

Front end is nothing but Fiori client where ICF services and Odata services will be
activated.

What is back end?

Back end is S4 HANA client where data is stored and will be displayed in fiori apps.

Note: If Role is mentioned in Backend Authorization and role then create Z role by copying same
role and assign it to required user.
