Using the assigned weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation
answer the following questions. Be prepared to share your
answers with the class.

Why could this potentially be a problem?

State can make their own court system that could be unfair to
others.
Would this potential issue compound into other problems? What are they?
This could cause big disputes with states, if one state could have laws that others
don’t or have different values. This could cost you time in jail or real punishment
What groups (farmers, merchants, war veterans, wealthy, slaves) of society would this
issue potentially impact & How?
This would impact everyone, different laws in one state could be
different in another so something that might not be a problem in
one might be a problem in another.
Does the problem identified have a simple solution or need a complete overhaul?
Why?
It was a simple solution because if they had a national court
system then the state could make their court system like the
national
